I was shocked when I locked eyes with the pale haired girl , I had noticed her before because her hair was an anomaly, it wasn't always you see someone with so pale a hair , almost white.
"Don't you think she's very pretty" My Lycan, Luca said as she averted her eyes when her friend nudged her
"I do not care for such, now shut up" I growled as I ran my hands through my hair and Luca quieted up chuckling at my unsettlement.
Why was I getting unsettled by her, she's just a mere wolf.
"Earth to Xavier", Valentino poked me distracting me from my thoughts
"What got you so distracted? I'm pretty sure you didn't hear anything that was said. Are you okay?" Val asked in a serious tone.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm good. I just got distracted, let's get away from here. I need a distraction " I mumbled to my friends and the twins and Val nodded.
I was still lost in thoughts that I wasn't paying attention and bumped into someone.
it was the white haired girl, she shifted so fast like my touch burnt her and fell on her butt
Her soft voice rang out as she muttered' ouch',a smile slipped on my face but I quickly schooled my features back to a scowl.
She was a wolf but she didn't smell like that dusty smells that accompanied wolf neither did she smell like a Lycan.
For the first time ever, I couldn't identify someone by their scent.
I hurriedly stepped over her about to leave very confused by her lack of scent.
Who was this girl ?
That was the thought flitting in my head
"Ouch" she yelped and I grinned again and kept going
"Asshole" I heard her mutter with my Lycan hearing. The fuck did she have a death wish , how dare she not cower at me.
I pushed her to the locker, my eyes flashing, Luca getting territorial again, this Lycan of mine needs to pack his pride "What did you just say?" I growled at her expecting her to cower in fear, submit and satisfy Luca
I was so shocked when she lifted her chin defiantly, the top of her head barely reaching my jaw " I called you an asshole, any problem with that?" She growled at me
"Do you have a death wish or something wolf" I growled at her, letting Luca out a little to frighten her
"No, but I should be asking you that, the least you could do was help me up after all you caused me to fall" she said rolling her eyes at me
"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" I groaned already frustrated by the audacity of this girl. "What pack do you belong to, it seems you need a little lesson" I asked her impatiently
"It is none of your business, now, if you are not going to apologize, step out of my way, I've class to get to. I have no idea why you Lycans feel so high and mighty" , she muttered the last part but Valentino and the twins with their Lycan hearing heard it and advanced towards us
"Leave this to me" I growled at them moving even Impossibly closer to her till our bodies were pressed against each other
"Wolf, bow!" I commanded with my Lycan alpha tone
I saw her struggling to stay upright , I was in awe that she was yet to break , I and probably everyone here
"Who are you?" I asked her as she stared at me get face flushed, not waiting for her answer I pulled her along with me despite I weak struggle, away from the watching eyes of the wolves, I couldn't let my authority be questioned.
I pushed her to the wall behind the back door leading to the parking lot , I sensed my friends coming behind
I grabbed her hands tightly releasing it when I saw her eyes watering, Luca tugging at me
"Unhand her now!" My Lycan growled confusing me , I released my grip on her
Suddenly she doubled over in pain falling to the ground, my eyes widened in surprise. "What the hell" I gasped as her eyes flashed between the forest green they were, the silver of her hair and the yellow of Lycans
I heard gasps from my friends, Valentino stepping closer, who the hell was this girl. I crouched towards her on the floor as she released a whimper
"Did she just get her wolf?" Valentino asked, our eyes met and I shrugged because I couldn't even provide an answer to that.
Her eyes glowed yellow, I was so sure that she couldn't be an ordinary wolf, but she wasn't a Lycan either.
Suddenly her shoulders slumped , seeming that the whole debacle was over, she looked up at us her chin quivering "I didn't shift" she murmured.
A bulky guy came running towards us or at least her " Mate", he growled
Oh fuck, this was just so dramatic , I rolled my eyes

Connor pushed me laughing as we walked towards class, suddenly I felt heat all over my body and a sweet strong smell. Oh fuck! My mate I growled possessively as I ran in search of the scent leading me to the back way
I barely paid any attention to my surroundings when I saw Alanna of the red blood pack slumped bear the wall as I walked towards her , her scent filled I and Ampari but I couldn't sense her wolf. "Mate" I growled as her lifted her chin staring into her eyes
"You cannot shift", I gasped, I thought she would be strong, I couldn't have a Luna with no wolf
" You're just a lowly omega , you don't even have a wolf. You're weak and filthy , you can't be my Luna", tears rolled down her cheeks as I uttered those words to her
"I, Blake Knight , next in line Alpha of the new Haven pack reject you Alanna Carrington of the red blood pack to be my mate"

Alanna
As Blake uttered those words , something in me broke.
"No", I gasped in pain as he smirked and walked away.
This was the nightmare of every female wolf being rejected and also not being able to shift
"Oh Nessa, he rejected us" I said to my wolf ," Why can't we shift", I asked her
"I don't know Alanna, something is blocking me from you , I can't merge with you", Nessa said tearfully in as much pain as I was
"I'm so sorry ,Alanna", Nessa whispered closing up ."I'm so sorry too, Nessa" I muttered as I wiped the tears from my face angrily.
I looked up to see the Lycans staring at the me.
"What else do you want from me, you've seen who I am, a wolf who can't shift and who got rejected by her mate" I screamed at them as Xavier walked towards me searched my eyes and walked away, the rest of them following him
My shoulders slumped as I let all the tears flow.
"Oh goddess, Alanna are you okay", I looked up to see Karla and I fell into her arms
"Blake has been spreading rumours, I'm so sorry , he's such a dick to have rejected you, he's not even worthy of you" Karla muttered angrily as I winced
"Take me home please " I muttered as Karla nodded and we headed to the parking lot

As we neared the pack surroundings I inhaled the sharp tinge of blood , I and Karla looked at each other before running out of the car.
As I looked around everywhere was bloody, fully of bodies
The pack had been attacked.
"Mum!, Dad! " I screamed in tears running into the house. I skidded to a stop when I saw my mother on the ground her neck brutally torn open and my dad, the alpha , some paces beside her ripped apart
There was blood everywhere as I fell on my parents weeping,"Mum, Dad, this can't be happening", I screamed,"What did I do to deserve this " I shouted to the moon goddess
I screamed and screamed till I was pulled from my parents, my whole body covered with ther blood.
"Alanna, Alanna" Karla shook me as I just stared motionlessly as the neighbouring pack, the New Haven pack cleared the bodies of my pack members. How ironic it was, the son ripped my heart out and the father cleared the remains of my family.
"Do you think it was the Lycans" I heard Alpha Alaric if the new Haven pack ask his Beta who shrugged helpessly when they thought I couldn't hear them.
Those fucking Lycans, was this payback for not submitting to them.
With Tears rolling down my eyes , I wiped them furiously, my ring cutting my skin and blood mixing with tears I made a promise.
"We will destroy the Lycans for taking everything from us, Nessa, we will kill each and everyone of them , starting with the Lycan king who allowed them to do this to Xavier who did this" I said to my wolf who agreed sadly with me.
