Besides this Salamence, many other Pokémon were also flying towards them.
Dragonite, Flygon, Salamence, Altaria, Hydreigon… and so on.
There were numerous Dragon-type Pokémon, and also many Pokémon that weren't Dragon-type but possessed Dragon-type bloodlines, such as Charizard and Tropius.
This place was simply a paradise for Dragon-type Pokémon; any one that appeared was a Dragon-type.
"You are the second human to come here. I hope you can guard the secret of this place," Drake said to Aoki, his expression serious.
Aoki was startled by his words, then nodded, looking directly into Drake's eyes without any evasion.
If this place were known to the outside world, it would be truly troublesome, and the entire Dragon Space might even be destroyed.
He knew too well what so many Dragon-type Pokémon represented to outsiders: not just rare Pokémon, but endless wealth.
Dragon-type Pokémon were often synonymous with power. Even with the emergence of the Fairy-type, it only had a significant impact on Dragon-types when it first appeared, but after some time and settling down, its influence on Dragon-type Pokémon was not as great.
After all, the strength of Dragon-type Pokémon was not solely in their moves; their physical power was actually even greater.
Soon, that Salamence, along with a few other Salamence and other Dragon-type Pokémon, appeared before Aoki and the others.
"Old friend, long time no see," Drake greeted.
Roar—
The leading Salamence's expression softened, and its intimidating aura gradually subsided.
"This is my disciple. I'll explain to you later," Drake said, noticing his old friend kept looking at Aoki.
Hearing this, the Salamence nodded and let out a soft roar to the surrounding Dragon-type Pokémon. They exchanged glances, then looked at the expressionless Aoki one last time before flying back in the direction they came from.
Then, the few Salamence also flew together towards a certain spot.
"How was it? Were you awestruck? I was startled the first time I came here too," Drake looked at Aoki and said with a smile.
Aoki let out a soft breath; he had truly been nervous just now.
It wasn't because he saw so many Dragon-type Pokémon, but because of the inherent strength of these Dragon-type Pokémon.
For example, Drake's old friend, the leading Salamence.
After the chip finished scanning its data, Aoki was also startled.

An 89-level Salamence!
This was the second strongest Dragon-type Pokémon Aoki had seen so far; the strongest was Professor Oak's Dragonite.
This Salamence was considered the strongest among the Dragon-type Pokémon that had just appeared.
However, that didn't mean the other Pokémon were weak; none of the leading ones were weaker than a Veteran Elite Four member.
As for those Pseudo-legendary Dragon-type Pokémon, although their levels weren't as high as this Salamence, not a single one of them was below Champion-level in strength.
This kind of place...
Even if this Dragon Space were known to outsiders, they wouldn't be able to do anything about it, would they?
Unless it was like Team Rocket or the entire Pokémon League mobilizing, only then would it be possible.
Moreover, the Pokémon that had just appeared were certainly only a few of them, because as they flew further inside, Aoki finally saw the full scope of this space, and also saw a large number of Dragon-type Pokémon flying everywhere in the sky and running on the ground.
The place they were currently heading towards was a giant canyon.
This canyon was located within a long mountain range. From afar, the mountain range looked like a giant dragon lying asleep on the ground, and the canyon was located where the dragon's head was.
"That's Dragon Valley, and this mountain range, they call it Dragon Mountain," Drake introduced to Aoki.
This was truly a paradise for Dragon-type Pokémon. He just wondered if there would be Kommo-o.
He had seen Dragonite and Hydreigon earlier, and now Salamence. When they flew past, he also saw Garchomp and Goodra, but he didn't seem to see any traces of Kommo-o.
"My old friend is currently the patriarch of the Salamence clan, so he must stay here and cannot go out with me. And the Salamence we are riding now is actually his child, who will inherit his patriarch position in the future," Drake explained.
Aoki nodded.
In wild Pokémon clans, the position of patriarch is largely inherited by their own offspring.
As Dragon-type Pokémon, they also have a characteristic that all Pokémon envy, and that is longevity.
A normal Dragon-type Pokémon, a pure-blooded Dragon-type like Salamence, can easily live for five hundred years, and the stronger the Dragon-type Pokémon, the longer they can survive.
If the Dragon-type Pokémon here are all so long-lived...
No wonder so many powerful Pokémon can be seen.
If their talent and resources aren't enough, they can accumulate it over time.
Upon reaching Dragon Valley, the leader Salamence slowly descended with the other Salamence.
Below, Aoki saw many Bagon playing, and also many Shelgon lying lazily on the ground, and of course, many Salamence as well.
After Drake and Aoki dismounted from the Salamence, the Salamence let out a soft roar at Drake. After receiving Drake's nod of approval, it immediately went to greet its long-unseen companions.
However, most of the companions he played with during his Bagon stage were still in their Shelgon form, and they looked at his wings with great envy.
Pokémon caught by trainers, whether in terms of growth speed or growth status, are much better than Pokémon in the wild.
The leader Salamence walked up to Drake, lowered its head, and gently rubbed its face against Drake's twice, expressing its longing.
"Old friend, it has indeed been a long time, but I've come this time with something I need your help with," Drake said, then beckoned to Aoki.
He spoke again, "This is my disciple, Aoki, a very reliable person. He will absolutely not reveal anything about Dragon Valley. His visit is mainly why I'm here."
At Drake's signal, Aoki took out a Poké Ball and summoned his Shelgon.
