Aristia was left staring at nothing in front of her.
The chains had disappeared again!
She wasn't even sure if she was in the same place again.
It was still dark, but now there were no more stars. The moon wasn't in the sky either.
If it had been nighttime earlier,.then now,.it was like a shadow had enveloped the sky, draping it in pure darkness.
Somehow, however, it was dark enough to not see even though there was no source of light.
Hearing a sound in front of her, Aristia faced forward.
[Eh...?!]
There was an animal in front of her.
No. That animal was clearly the Millie she had seen within the chains.
But there was no trace of familiarity in her eyes. This Millie was staring at her with hostility.
Aristia recalled her conclusion— that she would have to fight her daemon.
"So that time's here, huh?" She muttered.
The Millie looking at her suddenly moved.
In the blink of an eye, the nine tailed fox-like animal was beside her.
