Henry's POV
Seeing them walk away, I tried to control the nagging anxiety.
I hate this weak, insufficient side of me the most, but I am lucky, so lucky that Kenny is still willing to accommodate my moods.
I just have to pray to my god that he will never change in that matter or that I am able to change, winning over this weak side.
I smiled while hearing him actively 'watch flowers,' and when they had gone too far from me to properly listen in, I teleported on top of one of the big trees that were now closer to them.
"Because people might get strange thoughts …"
"Who will? You?"
I nearly broke into laughter; I knew he would say that—it was an answer I borrowed from him while speaking with Mrs. Howard the last time.
Today Kenny's comebacks were especially entertaining, and I cheered for him from up there.
Then soon it was about meeting beautiful girls, and my face fell.
