This undoubtedly left many Dragon Lords discontented. Although they acknowledged the innumerable benefits brought to them by this Great Lord Golden Dragon over the past two hundred years, such gratitude was not a reason to oppose multiple Divines.
Yet this was not a reason for them to flee the battlefield. The education of the Metallic Dragon Race and their basic moral cultivation did not support vassals and subjects fleeing when their Lord entered a state of war.
Unless it was an unjust war, a completely evil apocalypse war descending to the Lower Plane, that would give them a reason to exit and refuse.
But was this war launched by Holy Dragon Noah an unjust war?
Of course not. It was a vengeance war based on fundamental morality.
