Noah is able to withstand the impact of this sea of negative emotions, but cannot restrain the overflow manifestation after these emotions are materialized.
Given his current status, even a slight mistake could lead to an apocalyptic disaster, and not just the destruction of one world.
Fortunately, Noah can now manage and resolve such backlash by fragmenting it and casting it into the Abyss, since the Abyss is already the gathering place for billions of Material Planes that have fallen; another Black Sun makes no difference.
That's the reasoning, and indeed the Abyss doesn't mind having an extra sun. Yet for individual demons, the arrival of the Black Sun is no less than a catastrophe for living creatures in the Material Realm.
