Mitsu Bay, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture.
This year's fireworks festival is co-hosted by the Heisei Ship Crew, the Matsuyama Port Festival Revitalization Association, and the Japan Fireworks Association.
This is a coastal area, so 12,000 fireworks will be displayed over the sea, making it the largest fireworks festival in Shikoku. The size 8 shells will fill the entire night sky over the sea.
A girl in a yukata was led by the hand by the person in front of her. As they walked, the purple wisteria hairpin by her ear emitted a luminous glow.
The two of them were getting farther away from the crowd.
"Sakura-kun, aren't we going to watch the fireworks now?"
"Yes."
Hanamaru Hanabi turned her head, realizing they had already walked quite a distance from the night market.
"But the place to watch the fireworks is on the beach."
They continued walking along a nearly deserted street.
