"Okay." Lin Chuan nodded.
The breakfast was made by Nuo Xiaoxi herself. There were ready-made dumpling wrappers in the fridge and chopped meat filling. Nuo Xiaoxi wrapped fifty dumplings early in the morning, cooked thirty, ate five herself, and Lin Chuan could devour twenty-five on his own.
Sure enough, Lin Chuan's dumpling-eating speed was just like counting them—one after the other, he would swallow them down.
Lin Chuan hadn't had a proper meal these past few days, and he felt terribly hungry this morning. So, in one go, he gobbled down twenty-five dumplings. And they weren't even small; Nuo Xiaoxi felt stuffed after just five, but Lin Chuan managed to eat so many at once.
"Brother Lin, are you full?" Nuo Xiaoxi asked.
"Full." Lin Chuan patted his belly.
"There are eggs too." Nuo Xiaoxi quickly took out two warm eggs from her pocket, saying, "One for each of us."
Lin Chuan smiled and swallowed one egg in one gulp.
