"It seems you've already decided to leave me. Did you just make your decision now, or have you been planning it all along?" Daniel turned to her. His voice was calm, but his eyes were filled with cold stares.
Chantelle noticed the car speeding up. It didn't even stop after running a red light. She didn't want to provoke him further, so she shut her mouth.
"Chantelle, do you know what's even more painful? You don't even want to talk to me anymore." Daniel let out a mocking smile.
Chantelle suddenly reached out and grabbed his veined arm. She took a deep breath and said, "I never said I would leave you. I only planned to go back to Easthan. Even if you don't want me to return, I still want to go back."
Daniel shot her a glance, as if to confirm she was telling the truth.
Chantelle pinched his arm angrily. "Focus on driving! Do you think I'm that stupid? That I'll just do whatever others say?"
