Chantelle took the invitation and looked at it carefully. Daniel's name was not printed on it. The card only stated that the event was to celebrate the engagement between the Wilson Group of Companies and the Nelsen family, starting at 12:30 p.m.
"Don't bother about him. When you recover, we'll go to parties ourselves. There are plenty of men out there. You can find a better one." Thea grabbed the invitation card and threw it into the trash.
Chantelle smiled. "Are you two planning to ruin the party?"
"They are too much! Daniel hasn't even divorced you yet, and you saved his life yesterday. How could he still invite all of us to his engagement party? I really can't stand it. I need to vent my anger at that party later!" Thea couldn't hold back her tears. She was furious.
Chantelle looked at Russell. He only shrugged. "Well… since they sent us an invitation… it wouldn't be polite not to go, right?"
