Chapter 245 - Chapter 245: The Wedding

A deafening explosion rang out.

The legendary shinobi, Uchiha Madara, met his end.

Jiraiya let out a quiet sigh as he stood over Madara's fallen body. With his death, nearly all the warriors of the Warring States Period had vanished, marking the complete end of the old era. Now, a new age would begin, and its leader would be none other than Jiraiya himself.

"Now, it's your turn."

Jiraiya turned to Black Zetsu, his right hand clapping together in a decisive motion. A surge of chakra flooded through his body and into Black Zetsu, causing it to disintegrate into nothingness.

"Madara fell so quickly… Jiraiya-sama truly is powerful."

"Jiraiya-sama is invincible! He's already on par with the gods!"

"Jiraiya-sama is unstoppable!"

The shinobi of the Land of Fire erupted in cheers as they witnessed their leader's overwhelming victory over Uchiha Madara.

After ensuring Madara was truly gone, Jiraiya dismissed his Guardian Titan and approached the fallen legend's body. Though he had shattered Madara's soul with his final attack, he had left the corpse intact. A warrior of Madara's stature deserved a proper burial. Jiraiya decided to bring the body back to the Land of Fire and hold a grand funeral to honor the legend's name.

Summoning Sarutobi Hiruzen, Jiraiya tasked him with handling Madara's burial arrangements. With that settled, Jiraiya led the Konoha shinobi back to their village.

Upon returning to Konoha, Jiraiya immediately convened with the village's leadership. He ordered them to travel to the Land of Earth, the Land of Water, the Land of Lightning, and various smaller nations, delivering a clear ultimatum: submit to the sealing of their chakra or face his military might.

Jiraiya hoped to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. If the nations surrendered, it would mean fewer deaths. However, if they resisted, he would show no mercy. Creating a peaceful world required sacrifice.

Word of Jiraiya's victory over the Raikage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage, and Uchiha Madara spread rapidly across the shinobi world, shaking every nation to its core. At first, many refused to believe it, suspecting the Land of Fire of spreading false propaganda. But when their envoys returned with confirmation, the truth became undeniable.

Smaller nations, terrified by the news, swiftly sent emissaries to the Land of Fire, agreeing to the chakra-sealing policy. For them, losing their chakra was a small price to pay for survival—especially since they had always been at the mercy of the larger nations.

However, most of the major nations refused. The thought of relinquishing their power and becoming ordinary people was unthinkable, especially for the three great nations. The Land of Lightning, in particular, outright ignored the Land of Fire's messengers, even coming close to executing them.

When this news reached Jiraiya, his fury was unmistakable.

"I gave them a way out. Since they refuse, they can't blame me for being ruthless."

In the Hokage's office, Jiraiya's expression darkened.

"Jiraiya-sama, if the Land of Lightning refuses to comply, allow me to lead our forces and conquer them!" Uchiha Fugaku stepped forward, eager to prove his loyalty.

Jiraiya shook his head. "I alone am enough."

Without another word, he left the Land of Fire and set out for the Land of Lightning.

With his current strength, he had no need for an army.

Upon entering the Land of Lightning, Jiraiya made his way straight to Kumogakure. As soon as he arrived, he summoned the Guardian Titan and the Five Elemental Titans, launching an assault on the village. The defenses of Kumogakure stood no chance against his overwhelming power. The village was reduced to rubble in mere moments.

As for Gyūki, the Eight-Tails, Jiraiya extracted its chakra and absorbed it into himself.

By the end of the battle, the Land of Lightning's leadership had been utterly annihilated by Jiraiya alone.

When news of Kumogakure's destruction spread across the shinobi world, those nations still hesitating immediately surrendered. Terrified, they dispatched emissaries to the Land of Fire, willing to accept the chakra-sealing policy. Even the Land of Earth, which had been weakened significantly, chose to comply. They knew that if they resisted, they would be signing their own death warrants.

At this point, Jiraiya had become an unstoppable force. Even if all the remaining shinobi united against him, defeating him would come at an unimaginable cost. And with the entire Land of Fire at his disposal, Jiraiya was truly invincible.

With no other options, the remaining nations followed suit. Though they would lose their chakra and become ordinary people, at least they would still be alive. Those who resisted would only face complete annihilation.

Before long, the Land of Water also sent its representatives, agreeing to the sealing.

Soon after, Konoha's sealing teams were dispatched to every nation, executing Jiraiya's vision. Meanwhile, Jiraiya ordered the collection of every nation's ninjutsu scrolls, training methods, and chakra extraction techniques, bringing them all to the Land of Fire for safekeeping.

He personally sealed these texts within a hidden cavern, placing powerful fūinjutsu over them. Without his permission, no one would ever access these secrets.

From that moment on, the existence of shinobi would be dictated by Jiraiya alone. No new shinobi could rise without his consent. Any attempt to train a disciple in secret would result in the extermination of their entire clan.

With this, Jiraiya's vision for the world was finally realized.

Once everything was set in place, Jiraiya officially assumed the title of Hokage, standing before all of Konoha as their undisputed leader.

His first order of business? Preparing for his wedding to Tsunade.

Long ago, he had promised her that once he became one of Konoha's top leaders, they would marry. Now, as the most powerful figure in the entire shinobi world, it was time to fulfill that promise.

The wedding was scheduled for two weeks later.

During that time, preparations were carried out meticulously, ensuring the event would be nothing short of grand.

When the day finally arrived, Konoha was alive with celebration. The village was decorated from end to end, fireworks exploded in the sky, and joyous music filled the streets.

Amidst the cheers and blessings of thousands, Jiraiya and Tsunade exchanged vows, marking the beginning of a new chapter—not only for themselves but for the entire shinobi world.
