Chapter 339 - CH: 337 Yan Ruyue’s jealousy! Endorser! Online

{Chapter: 337 Yan Ruyue's jealousy! Endorser! Online}

She let out a soft sigh. "Given the time pressure we're under, where can we possibly find someone of that caliber right now?"

Lin Yuan's lips curled into a confident smirk. "It's true that top stars are hard to contact—but I actually happen to know someone. And if all goes well, I can speak with her today and discuss a potential collaboration."

Yan Ruyue's beautiful eyes widened with curiosity and disbelief. "You know someone? A first-line celebrity? Personally?"

Her heart was already leaning toward belief. After all, Lin Yuan had just pulled off something seemingly impossible—resolving the critical supply problem with such ease and speed. Compared to that, getting a celebrity endorsement seemed almost achievable… if it were Lin Yuan.

Still, she was curious. Very curious. "So, who is this superstar you're talking about?"

Lin Yuan chuckled and said a single name.

"Li Feifei."

The moment he said it, Yan Ruyue's eyes lit up with recognition and surprise. She almost gasped. "Li Feifei?! You mean the Li Feifei? The megastar who's dominating the entertainment scene right now? The one people are calling the next queen of the pop?"

Her voice carried a mixture of awe and disbelief. Li Feifei was that famous. She was not only popular in the country, but her name was beginning to make waves internationally as well. With her angelic voice, stunning beauty, and strong fan base, she was easily one of the most influential celebrities of the generation.

Lin Yuan nodded with the same calm smile. "Yes. That Li Feifei."

Yan Ruyue was stunned. She stared at Lin Yuan, her mind racing. "How… how do you even know her?"

But before he could answer, memories began flashing through her mind.

Suddenly, it clicked.

"I remember now," Yan Ruyue murmured softly. "There was that concert in Jiangbei not long ago. I was watching the livestream online…"

Her voice trailed off as she recalled the scene vividly—how Lin Yuan had been selected randomly from the audience to go up on stage. But instead of requesting a song, he had performed one himself.

The song was unforgettable—Blue and White Porcelain—a hauntingly beautiful melody that mesmerized the entire stadium. And Lin Yuan had sung it flawlessly, his voice as smooth as silk, captivating even someone like her through a screen.

Now it all made sense.

He wasn't just someone who happened to sing well.

He had left an impression on Li Feifei.

Yan Ruyue looked at him with a mix of realization and admiration. "I remember now. After your performance, Li Feifei must have taken notice of you… But still, to the point of being able to ask her to be our product's endorser? That's not easy. Li Feifei isn't someone who agrees to brand partnerships lightly. And it's not always about money either."

Lin Yuan shrugged modestly. "After the concert, she came backstage and insisted on meeting me. She loved my singing and, well… she practically begged to exchange contact information and said she wanted to be friends."

"Hmph!" Yan Ruyue snorted lightly and rolled her eyes.

The tone wasn't angry—it was more amused. Even a little jealous.

"You sure it wasn't you begging her to be friends?"

Lin Yuan laughed. "Of course not. I have too much pride for that."

But the sparkle in his eyes made it clear he was enjoying teasing her just a little.

Yan Ruyue gave him a long look and eventually sighed. "Well, if you really can get Li Feifei on board as the brand ambassador for Yanyue's new product line… then I'll admit it—you're amazing."

Lin Yuan smiled but didn't respond directly.

Because he knew—soon, she would be even more surprised.

For one, Yan Ruyue couldn't help but find Lin Yuan's words outrageously shameless.

And second—what bothered her even more—was his casual claim that a top-tier celebrity had begged to be friends with him. That kind of thing didn't sit well with her at all.

Just thinking about Li Feifei brought another unpleasant image to Yan Ruyue's mind: Lin Yuan had attended that concert with Chi Qian—that breathtakingly beautiful girl who seemed to capture attention wherever she went. That memory alone was enough to stir a swirl of sourness in her chest.

Lin Yuan, who had grown sensitive to the subtle emotional shifts of women, especially when it came to someone like Yan Ruyue, immediately picked up on the trace of jealousy in her eyes. At first, he was a little confused by it. But after thinking for a few seconds, he finally understood.

So she's jealous. He sighed inwardly.

Women, he mused, could be so easily stirred by matters of emotion. But he didn't dislike it.

Yan Ruyue, on her part, pushed her jealousy aside for the moment and returned to the topic at hand. "Even if you and Li Feifei are friends, is it really a good idea to ask her to endorse our products? She's a top-tier celebrity. Asking someone of her caliber would come at an enormous cost. I'm not sure it would be financially reasonable."

Lin Yuan simply smiled and replied calmly, "It shouldn't be difficult—after all, we're more than just casual friends."

There was a subtle glint of confidence in his eyes.

He wasn't exaggerating. Li Feifei truly appreciated music, and after hearing him perform "Blue and White Porcelain" at her concert, she'd taken a strong liking to both the song and him. She had even invited him to consider joining her company back then. It was admiration—respect for his talent—nothing romantic or scandalous.

They had exchanged contact information and occasionally communicated when matters about the song's release came up. There was nothing particularly intimate between them, but his phrasing now... well, it was easy to misinterpret.

A wealthy young heir and a superstar with a "special friendship"? That certainly sounded like tabloid material.

Yan Ruyue wanted to probe deeper, but something held her back. Perhaps pride. Perhaps insecurity.

So instead, she continued in a tone tinged with both logic and restrained jealousy, "Even if you have a good relationship with Li Feifei, I doubt she can make that kind of decision on her own. She's under a major agency. Any endorsement would still need to go through them—and they're not going to make it easy unless the deal is big enough."

Her words weren't wrong. For stars of Li Feifei's level, contracts and endorsements were usually handled by agencies, not the stars themselves. Even if the star wanted to help, there were often legal and financial obstacles in place.

Still, Lin Yuan found her tone amusing—especially hearing this ice-cold, rational CEO speak with a trace of jealousy in her voice.

He decided not to tease her further.

Instead, he explained in a more serious tone, "There's nothing going on between me and Li Feifei beyond a shared appreciation for music. We're friends, nothing more."

Hearing this clarification, Yan Ruyue visibly relaxed. Her expression softened a little, and she nodded.

"Did you ever check the charts for 'Blue and White Porcelain'?" Lin Yuan asked with a slight smirk.

"I did," Yan Ruyue replied immediately. "I've seen it ranked near the top on every music chart. I've even heard people around me humming the tune. And since you partnered with her company, I assume they're sending you regular payments—monthly or quarterly, right?"

"Yes, the royalties are doing well. That's one part of our connection," Lin Yuan said with a chuckle. "But aside from that, Li Feifei does contact me now and then. I've got her personal number, her star sign, height, weight… even her measurements. If I ask her to do something, I don't think it'll be an issue."

Yan Ruyue paused and blinked.

"Star sign, height… measurements?" she echoed, her expression caught somewhere between suspicion and disbelief.

Lin Yuan coughed lightly and quickly explained, "She fell ill once and asked me to help. She knows I'm skilled in medicine, so I did a brief consultation. That's how I got that information."

The truth was harmless—just a natural outcome of their conversations and that one-time check-up. But Lin Yuan had spoken too casually, not realizing how his words might sound to someone already feeling a little possessive.

Still, he didn't want the conversation to get too sidetracked.

"As for whether Li Feifei will accept the endorsement," he continued, steering the discussion back on track, "I believe she will. And when it comes to her agency, I've already prepared a solution."

Yan Ruyue, though still thinking about the oddly specific details Lin Yuan had shared, nodded slowly. "Endorsements take time. A star like Li Feifei probably has a full schedule managed by her agency. How do you plan to handle that?"

She wasn't just asking out of curiosity—she knew how complicated the industry could be, especially when dealing with celebrities with contracts, managers, PR handlers, and corporate sponsors. It was a maze of bureaucracy.

Lin Yuan, however, seemed utterly unfazed.

"As for her agency," he said with a calm, confident smile, "it's actually very simple..."
