Qingbao was a little surprised to hear it.
"You have a driver's license?"
"I do."
Even though she got a positive answer from Jiang Nian, Qingbao didn't agree. She answered vaguely.
"Let's see."
Jiang Nian wasn't surprised by this. He had learned this trick from Qingbao, and it was enough that the thought was there.
"Okay."
Noon.
Jiang Nian entered the West Gate of the school, carrying a bottle of Sprite. He planned to stroll around a bit before going to the classroom for a nap.
The winter afternoon sun was warm and cozy on his body.
He was walking with his eyes squinted when his phone rang in his pocket. Zhou Haifei was calling, presumably to return something.
"Hello?"
"Jiang Nian, do you have time now?"
"It's the middle of the day..." Jiang Nian was in a good mood and decided to tease her a bit, "You sure know how to pick a time."
"Huh?" Zhou Haifei sounded a little flustered.
"Then... then I'll."
