Knock knock knock.
Jiang Nian knocked on the door but didn't wait for a response. Familiar with the place, he walked into the office and pulled up a chair to sit down.
"Teacher, you wanted to see me?"
"Please, have a seat." Old Liu was drinking tea, making a gesture of camaraderie with Zhang Wei, "I've got some fantastic news."
"Did you find a tutor?"
"My stocks just skyrocketed."
"Oh." Jiang Nian was speechless, thinking to himself how utterly dumbfounded he was, as he gulped down the Golden Monkey tea on the desk.
"Just kidding." Old Liu chuckled.
Jiang Nian forced a stiff smile, thinking to himself how amusing this old man was.
"Teacher, you're quite humorous."
"Of course, back in the day..." Old Liu wanted to brag more but stopped himself, "We did find a tutor."
"Who?"
"Teacher Zhu from the repeat class, teaches the best two science classes." Old Liu took a sip of tea, looking somewhat proud.
