"You're the one who needs a few more years of training, Bo Saixi."

Qian Renhan's lips curled into a cold smirk as the second soul ring beneath his feet lit up.

"Second Soul Skill: Angelic Blood Pupil."

As the Angelic Blood Pupil activated, a sharp pain surged through Bo Saixi's head. Instantly, an overwhelming evil force pierced her mental defenses and invaded her mind. A scene she had long dreamed of began to materialize before her eyes.

A tall, handsome figure appeared before her—someone she had yearned for countless times in her dreams. But in this vision, the man was covered in blood, gravely wounded, and on the verge of death.

With trembling lips and eyes full of love and regret, the man whispered, "I'm sorry, Xixi... I failed. I couldn't fulfill my promise to you."

As the words fell, the man collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

"Tang Chen... Tang Chen!" Bo Saixi's pupils dilated, and tears gushed uncontrollably from her eyes.

"I really should thank Tang San for this."

Qian Renhan let out a faint chuckle. Although he didn't possess a skull bone, the enhancement from the Wangchuan Autumn Dew herb had brought his spiritual power nearly on par with Bo Saixi's Limit Douluo-level strength. Without the significant spiritual boost from Tang San's Purple Demon Eye, this mere thousand-year soul skill would never have been able to break through her defenses so easily.

Unlike Bone Douluo, the Fallen Angel Martial Soul didn't hold any ancestral advantage over the Sea God Martial Soul.

The Angelic Blood Pupil was a soul skill of evil attribute—by nature, it couldn't produce beautiful illusions. Bo Saixi's most cherished memory was of Tang Chen ascending to godhood and returning to take her away. But the evil energy had twisted that dream into a nightmare—Tang Chen had failed and died right before her eyes.

With Bo Saixi's mind thrown into chaos, her Sea Ripple attack turned into a headless frenzy, lashing out erratically. What had previously been a torrential assault of lightning was now reduced to a few stray bolts barely striking Qian Renhan.

When Bo Saixi finally snapped back to reality, her water barrier was already split apart by Qian Renhan's sword. A fist the size of a sandbag landed squarely on her delicate face.

Bang!

"Aaaah—!"

Bo Saixi let out a blood-curdling scream as her body plummeted straight into the ocean, crashing into the waves and sending up a towering column of water several dozen meters high.

"Heh."

Qian Renhan gave a soft chuckle and glanced to the side. A kilometer away, Haidong and the Demon Soul Great White Shark stared in stunned disbelief, watching as the seemingly invincible High Priestess was slammed into the sea.

Just then, the entire sea began to churn. A hundred-meter-tall water pillar erupted into the sky. Within it emerged Bo Saixi—her face bearing a distinct fist mark, veins bulging on her forehead, and her facial features slightly twisted in fury.

She had completely lost her composure. Qian Renhan hadn't just struck her physically—he had forced her to witness the one scene she could never bear: Tang Chen's failure and death. That memory was her reverse scale. As the High Priestess, she had once considered killing the next Sea God just for a chance to see Tang Chen again.

"Qian Clan descendant... you've truly enraged me!"

"Eighth Soul Skill: Heaven-Splitting Axe!"

Bo Saixi madly drew power from the sea, her strength soaring. Her eighth soul ring ignited beneath her. She hurled the Sea God's scepter into the air and brought her hands together. Golden lightning flashed wildly between her palms, distorting space itself. The golden lightning converged into a gigantic axe the size of a small hill.

The axe tore through the sky, leaving a distinct spatial crack in its wake. In the blink of an eye, it descended upon Qian Renhan.

It was a locking-type soul skill—there was no escape.

Qian Renhan tossed aside the Dark Holy Sword. His eighth soul ring lit up beneath him. His hands turned a pale jade color as he brought them together—and the Heaven-Splitting Axe vanished without a trace.

Blood splattered in all directions. Qian Renhan's brows furrowed as he parted his hands to reveal a deep, bone-deep gash across his palms. His eighth soul skill hadn't been able to completely nullify Bo Saixi's attack, especially with the sea's power reinforcing her.

Qian Renhan, however, paid the wound no mind. The Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone activated, and his palm began healing at a rate visible to the naked eye.

"Looks like I'll need to learn the Jade Hands technique after all."

A kilometer apart, Qian Renhan and Bo Saixi locked eyes again. As if in perfect sync, they both launched new attacks. The hundred-meter gap between them instantly turned into a battlefield. Sword energy clashed with water droplets, and deafening explosions rang out continuously.

The aftershocks made the sea churn violently, shaking the ocean and killing an untold number of sea spirit beasts.

"First Soul Skill: Dark Assault!"

Qian Renhan's first soul ring lit up beneath his feet as soul power surged into his left hand, condensing into a black fist mark.

Bo Saixi waved her hand, and the sea beneath her rose up dozens of meters high, forming a barrier that blocked Qian Renhan's attack.

Immediately after, she manipulated the ocean again. Towering columns of water shot into the sky, transforming into thick ropes of water that lashed toward Qian Renhan.

He remained calm and composed, flapping the wings on his back. With absolute speed on his side, he effortlessly dodged each water column.

The sea was vast—but not as vast as the sky. Trying to use the power of the ocean to control the sky was nothing but a fool's errand.

Bo Saixi roared in frustration, "Are you only capable of hiding in the sky, too scared to fight me head-on?!"

Qian Renhan sneered, "I could say the same about you. You only act tough with the ocean to back you up. Without its power, I could crush you with ease."

Bo Saixi snapped in fury, "Fine, fine! Qian Clan brat, do you have the guts to fight me on land? I won't rely on the ocean's power—and you won't use your advantage in the sky!"

Qian Renhan's first reaction wasn't joy—it was sheer speechlessness. In his mind, Was Bo Saixi really over a hundred years old? With that IQ? Challenging him to a fight on land—did she forget that ice counters water? He hadn't used that advantage before only because the vast ocean couldn't be frozen or suppressed.

He paused, then pointed his thumb toward the continent behind him. Without another word, the two of them flew off toward land.

---

Far out over the sea, Sea Dragon Douluo and the Demon Soul Great White Shark watched the battle between sky and ocean unfold, their faces full of shock and awe. Even though they were both Super Douluo-level powerhouses, the aftermath of that clash alone was enough to seriously injure them.

"Sea Dragon, who do you think will win?" asked the Demon Soul Great White Shark.

"The High Priestess could never lose," Sea Dragon Douluo replied solemnly. As Bo Saixi's loyal supporter for over a century—and someone with no love for the Spirit Hall—his faith in Bo Saixi's power was absolute.

With that, the Demon Soul Great White Shark transformed into human form. One beast and one human soared into the sky, chasing after the combatants.

---

On a flat plain tens of thousands of meters from the sea, surrounded by dense forest, Qian Renhan and Bo Saixi stood face to face. Behind each of them, their martial souls radiated brilliant light, lighting up half the sky.

Their eyes narrowed. Just as they were about to strike, a golden meteor streaked down from the heavens.

From it emerged a middle-aged man with six wings on his back, his face full of rage.

"Qian Daoliu," Bo Saixi muttered, her brow furrowing.

Qian Renhan exchanged a look with Qian Daoliu and smirked.

"Old man, did you come to help me? Though judging by your face, you don't look like it."

Bo Saixi said calmly, "Qian Daoliu, this is between me and your descendant. Please don't interfere. If you want a fight, wait until I finish with him—I'll entertain you then."

But Qian Daoliu ignored her completely. He stared at Qian Renhan and questioned angrily,

"Qian Renhan, answer me! Did you already know Xiaoxue would fall?!"

Qian Renhan's lips curled into a dark grin.

"What else? Why do you think I didn't crush Tang San under my foot back then? Everything played out exactly as I expected. My foolish sister finally did something worthy of recognition."

"I should have— I should have strangled you the moment you awakened your martial soul!"

Qian Daoliu's fury exploded as Qian Renhan confirmed his worst fear.

His six-winged Angel Martial Soul shone brilliantly behind him. Eight black rings and one red ring floated around him, and his right arm glowed before transforming into a golden longsword, radiating boundless divine light.

This sword was none other than the Judgment Sword—Liangtian Jian—the manifestation of the Angelic God Arm Bone, a divine artifact obtained during the seventh Angelic Trial. It existed to uphold the Angelic legacy and punish sin.

It was the counterpart to the Sea God's Scepter in Bo Saixi's hand.

Her brow furrowed deeply, and she said with a hint of anger, "Qian Daoliu, didn't you hear what I said? He is my opponent."

"Get lost, Bo Saixi!" Qian Daoliu barked back without hesitation.

He slashed his divine sword at her. Bo Saixi was shocked—she hadn't expected Qian Daoliu to actually strike her. She quickly raised her Sea God's Scepter to defend, but was still sent flying by the blow.

Qian Daoliu, now bordering on madness, shouted,

"Anyone who dares obstruct me from cleansing my clan will die—even you!"
