Almost immediately, James handed me the piece of paper that I was supposed to take and read what the content was. I could hardly wait to get my hands on it, but I resolved to keep my composure and wait until he had left the classroom before I opened it.
As soon as he left the classroom, I hurriedly opened it and focused my attention on the information that was written on the sheet of paper.
I read it to myself in a voice that was so soft that it was nearly inaudible. Immediately, I had a mixed response in my brain, as I had various ideas going on in my mind at the time. "Please, meet me at the store room adjacent to the basketball court... I will be waiting for you!"
I asked myself, "Could it be that he misses me so much that he wants to be with me alone, or could it be that he had some other things he wanted to talk about with me?"
" I thought to myself as I stood there with a countenance that was somewhat betraying my confusion.
