Since the matter had been completely resolved, Eddie decided not to stay any longer at the luxurious villa.

Although the wealthy host still wanted Eddie to remain and attend their evening banquet, he stopped trying to persuade him after seeing Eddie politely but firmly refuse the invitation.

After all, the most important gift had already been delivered successfully, so it didn't really matter whether Eddie stayed for the social gathering or not.

Therefore, Eddie left the high-rise building with a deeply satisfied expression on his face, pleased with how smoothly everything had gone.

"Dad! Please don't go to that competition again!"

A female voice suddenly rang out, directly catching the attention of Eddie, who had just walked out of the towering building and onto the street below.

"Rebecca, I'm truly sorry, but I absolutely must win the P-1 Fighting Competition!"

The middle-aged man in smart athletic clothes said to the young woman with a genuinely apologetic look on his weathered face, then quickly ran away with his Hitmonchan following closely beside him.

Rebecca couldn't stop her father from leaving, and she immediately started crying right there on the sidewalk, her shoulders shaking with emotion.

"This... this scene feels so familiar. I should go see if there's a task available here," Eddie thought to himself.

Eddie had just finished completing a task that was based on an anime plot, and now seeing this emotional scene play out, it felt incredibly familiar to him.

Since he actually felt this strong sense of familiarity, there must be another task opportunity here, so he decided to investigate further.

"Miss Rebecca, you look like you could use some help," Eddie said as he walked directly toward the woman named Rebecca, speaking in a very friendly and approachable manner.

"I really enjoy helping others whenever I can. If you're facing any difficulties, you might as well tell me about them. Maybe I can actually help you solve your problems."

Eddie put on the appearance of a righteous hero who would 'help the weak when seeing injustice on the road.' He might as well have had the word "Justice" written across his face in bold letters.

Or perhaps he was just missing a large white cape with "Justice" embroidered on the back to complete the heroic image.

"Really? Can you actually help me with this situation?" Rebecca asked, looking up at him with tear-filled eyes.

Rebecca was instantly struck by Eddie's righteous and confident appearance, but she was still somewhat confused and uncertain. Why would such a kind person suddenly appear to help her when she was at her lowest point?

"Absolutely, you have to trust me. My name is Morning Sun, and I was the hero who completely defeated Team Rocket yesterday. People like me would never lie to someone in need," Eddie declared without shame, proudly talking about his recent brilliant achievements.

But this accomplishment would be known throughout the region in just a few days anyway, so he wasn't really deceiving anyone at this point.

"The hero who defeated Team Rocket? Then... then you must be incredibly strong, right?" Rebecca asked with growing hope in her voice.

Rebecca was just an ordinary civilian who didn't know the specific details of what had happened yesterday. She only knew that Team Rocket was considered very dangerous and powerful.

Since Eddie could completely defeat Team Rocket, he must be an exceptionally strong trainer with remarkable abilities.

In response to such questions about his strength, Eddie directly flicked his wrist and released his two strongest Pokémon: Charizard and Lucario.

Charizard and Lucario appeared majestically in front of Rebecca, and without saying a single word, they quietly began exuding their powerful aura and presence.

Even ordinary people who knew nothing about Pokémon training could feel the incredible energy radiating from elite-level Pokémon when they encountered them.

"They look so incredibly strong! And this Pokémon must be a Fighting-type - that's perfect!" Rebecca exclaimed with sudden excitement.

Rebecca could immediately sense the overwhelming strength of Eddie's Pokémon, and she instinctively felt that they were much more powerful than her father's Hitmonchan.

She also noticed Lucario specifically. Although she didn't know the species' exact name, it was easy to recognize it as a Fighting-type Pokémon based on its capable appearance and humanoid fighting stance. Rebecca instantly became much more energetic and hopeful.

"Mr. Morning Sun, here's what's happening," Rebecca began, her voice becoming more determined. "My father has been training obsessively in the mountains for the past three years, trying to win the P-1 Fighting Competition. During all this time, he hasn't cared about our family at all."

"So I'm asking you - can you defeat my father thoroughly in battle and make him stop being so addicted to Fighting-type training that he ignores everything else?"

Rebecca finally felt confident that Eddie was someone who could genuinely help her, and she immediately told him the complete story of her family's situation.

Ding! You received Rebecca's heartfelt request for help, triggering the hidden task: 'Rebecca's Family Crisis'

Mission content: Participate in the P-1 Fighting Competition and win the championship tournament!

Note: The Fighting Competition requires only Fighting-type Pokémon to participate!

After hearing Rebecca's emotional request for help, Eddie suddenly remembered this particular plot line, and the system mission appeared right on schedule.

But thinking about this storyline, it seemed like it didn't really matter whether he remembered the specific details or not. The solution was fairly straightforward - simply and decisively defeat Rebecca's father in battle.

As for Fighting-type Pokémon requirements, Eddie already had his powerful Lucario, so there was no need to catch or train another Fighting-type specifically for this tournament.

"Don't worry about anything - leave this entire matter to me," Eddie said confidently, patting his chest with assurance. "Take me to register for that competition right now, and I will definitely defeat your father so thoroughly that he won't want to participate in such obsessive behavior ever again!"

Eddie's declaration was meant to be reassuring to Rebecca, although the way he phrased it made her feel slightly uncomfortable about the intensity of his promise.

But at this moment, Eddie's mind was constantly filled with complaints and criticism about the entire situation. After all, he felt that this family crisis was really messed up, and there were many problematic aspects worth complaining about.

First of all, how terrible must Rebecca's father be as a trainer if he's been unable to win the championship after three full years of intensive training?

Secondly, Rebecca's father had a fundamentally flawed life philosophy. He had been training constantly without working or earning money to support his family. How exactly had their family survived financially during the past three years?

Didn't they need food, shelter, and basic necessities to live? Wouldn't it be much better to earn money while training to support the family properly?

Finally, Eddie had just observed and noticed that the father's Hitmonchan had only recently reached Peak level. That Hitmonchan probably had insufficient potential and limited natural talent if it had only reached Peak level after three years of dedicated training.

Eddie couldn't help but complain internally about the situation. This mission was even more bizarre and problematic than the hypnosis incident he had just resolved.

The difference was that the hypnosis incident was strange because of the mysterious side effects of the psychic moves, while this current incident was weird because of Rebecca's father's poor judgment and choices.

Not only was he a problematic person with skewed priorities, but his Pokémon was also mediocre, and his entire life philosophy was deeply flawed.

However, Eddie would definitely never say these harsh but honest thoughts out loud to Rebecca.

After all, he was supposed to be helping others in their time of need. It would be incredibly hurtful to say such brutally sincere observations about her family situation.

Anyway, Eddie only needed to defeat Rebecca's father decisively in the tournament to complete this task successfully.

As for all the other problematic aspects of the situation, he was too tired to complain about them or care about fixing the deeper issues.

In this way, Eddie followed Rebecca to the official venue of the P-1 Fighting Competition, ready to register and participate.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the city...

"Ahhhhh!" came the screams from above.

"BANG!"

As the painful screams rang through the air, three familiar figures who had been knocked flying fell directly onto the hard pavement below.

But they were somewhat lucky that they crashed directly into an innocent passerby, and the unfortunate person became their impromptu cushion, absorbing much of the impact.

"Ouch, that really hurt..." Jessie groaned as she stood up slowly, checking herself for injuries and declaring that she was mostly fine.

"Fortunately, we hit someone during our fall, and this poor guy became our human cushion, which reduced a lot of the painful impact," James also stood up carefully, speaking with obvious relief in his voice.

In this Pokémon world, everyone possessed remarkably strong physical resilience. Even when they were blasted away by powerful attacks and fell from great heights, they usually only suffered superficial injuries.

Even if they occasionally broke bones by accident, the advanced medical technology could heal them completely with ease.

But nobody wanted to spend time lying in a hospital bed if it could possibly be avoided.

"I'm okay too, meow! Also, I think I just found something really interesting, meow!" Meowth announced as he stood up, holding a colorful flyer that had belonged to the passerby who was now unconscious beneath them.

The promotional flyer had four large, bold words printed across the top: "P-1 Fighting Competition!"
