Because the time spent in Grampa Canyon had taken longer than expected, Eddie abandoned his plan to walk and instead rode his Charizard toward Fuchsia City.

At Charizard's flying speed, Eddie estimated it would take approximately ten minutes to reach the outskirts of Fuchsia City.

Meanwhile, in the Fuchsia City Safari Zone, Cassidy and Butch were frantically fleeing from pursuit.

Behind them, Green was laughing gleefully as she sat atop her floating Jigglypuff, launching continuous attacks at the retreating Team Rocket members.

"Ahhh! Why is this happening?!" Cassidy screamed in frustration. "We specifically lured Morning Sun away so he couldn't interfere with our mission. So why is there another trainer hunting down Team Rocket members?!"

"How am I supposed to know?!" Butch shouted back breathlessly. "Just keep running!"

Tears of desperation streamed down both criminals' faces. They had never imagined that after successfully drawing Eddie away from the area, they would encounter Green—another trainer who seemed just as determined to pursue Team Rocket as Eddie had been.

While Green wasn't quite as formidable as Eddie in terms of raw power, she had still achieved the rank of Elite trainer, which was more than sufficient for the current situation.

Unfortunately for the fleeing duo, Butch and Cassidy were merely Advanced-level trainers, making them no match for Green's superior skills and experience.

When they had first encountered Green in the Safari Zone, they hadn't initially planned to drive her away, assuming she would be an easy target to handle.

The result had been a humiliating defeat at Green's hands, followed by this relentless chase through the Safari Zone's terrain.

Now, within the confines of the Safari Zone, Cassidy and Butch found themselves jumping and weaving through the forest like characters in an action movie, desperately trying to navigate the Normal-type Pokemon habitat while evading capture.

However, no matter how frantically they ran, Green continued to gain ground on them steadily.

Since Green was using Jigglypuff's natural floating ability to pursue them through the air, she maintained the obvious advantage that flight always held over ground-based movement.

Furthermore, Green wasn't simply chasing them—she was actively attacking while maintaining pursuit, making their escape even more treacherous.

"You'd better hand over that dragon Pokemon detection device you're carrying," Green called out cheerfully, "and share some information about Team Rocket's operations with me. Otherwise, I'm going to make this experience very unpleasant for both of you!"

Green was thoroughly enjoying herself as she pursued Butch and Cassidy with obvious delight.

She considered her decision to visit this location to be absolutely perfect. Not only had she encountered isolated Team Rocket members operating alone, but they actually possessed a device capable of detecting dragon-type Pokemon—exactly what she needed.

Her goals were twofold: obtaining intelligence about Team Rocket's activities and locating a Dratini for her collection.

By capturing these two isolated operatives, she could accomplish both objectives simultaneously. She would gain access to valuable Team Rocket intelligence while also acquiring the dragon Pokemon detection device needed to find Dratini.

Catching these two criminals would allow her to kill two birds with one stone—precisely the type of efficient operation Green preferred above all others.

When she had first encountered the Team Rocket duo, she had immediately engaged them in battle, defeated them decisively, and then begun this pursuit as they attempted to flee.

"Jigglypuff, don't let them escape!" Green commanded. "Keep up the pressure with Round!"

Jigglypuff responded to the command by beginning to hum melodiously while carrying Green through the air.

The move Round, as its name suggested, involved attacking enemies through the power of song and melody.

While this technique wasn't particularly devastating in terms of raw damage output, its classification as an area-of-effect attack made it popular among many trainers for situations requiring crowd control.

Of course, since Butch and Cassidy were human beings rather than Pokemon, even a relatively mild singing attack could cause them significant discomfort and disorientation.

"Ahhh! What are we supposed to do now, Butch?!" Cassidy wailed in despair.

"How should I know?!" Butch replied frantically. "We're completely finished!"

As the melodic attack reached their ears, both Team Rocket members felt overwhelmed by the assault. They pressed their hands tightly against their ears while screaming in distress.

"Enough!" Cassidy finally snapped. "Listen here, little girl! If you keep attacking us, I'll destroy this dragon Pokemon detection device!"

Unable to endure the relentless pursuit any longer, Cassidy grabbed the small dragon Pokemon detection device and held it up threateningly toward Green.

Her expression clearly conveyed the message: "If you continue this attack, I'll destroy it!" This threat caused Green to pause and furrow her brow in consideration.

"Go ahead and destroy it," Green replied with a calculating smile. "I've decided that Team Rocket intelligence is far more valuable than any Dratini. If you break that device, I'll be free to attack even more aggressively without worrying about collateral damage."

Green was, after all, still Green—quick to analyze situations and make decisive choices based on strategic priorities.

She looked at Cassidy and Butch with a bright smile playing across her features, but both criminals could clearly see that despite her cheerful expression, her eyes remained cold and calculating.

While she certainly considered Dratini to be both excellent and rare, it simply couldn't compare to the strategic value of Team Rocket intelligence.

Green was driven by her burning desire to investigate Team Rocket for deeply personal reasons, and the importance of that mission naturally outweighed any interest in acquiring a single rare Pokemon like Dratini.

She had been attacking them leisurely because she wanted to obtain both prizes—she simply preferred not to have the detection device destroyed unnecessarily.

However, if Cassidy chose to break the device, Green would have no further restraints holding her back. She would simply give them a thorough beating, then string them up somewhere and extract information through more intensive interrogation methods.

"Damn... This little girl..." Cassidy muttered through gritted teeth.

"Cassidy, stay calm!" Butch urged desperately. "Don't break the device, or we'll really be dead!"

Cassidy was experiencing a volatile mixture of rage and genuine fear at that moment.

The humiliation of being threatened by a young girl like Green wounded her adult pride deeply, fueling her anger.

However, she could also sense Green's unwavering determination and detect the cold menace underlying her seemingly pleasant words.

If she truly fell into Green's hands completely, Cassidy believed she might not survive the encounter.

Butch was even more panicked than his partner, terrified that Cassidy might accidentally destroy the device in her agitated state, which would spell complete disaster for both of them.

"Have you made your decision yet?" Green asked with a mocking smile. "Hand over the information and the device, and I'll let you leave peacefully. Otherwise..."

Green sneered at Butch and Cassidy while casually tossing a Poke Ball during their momentary pause.

Her ace Pokemon, Blastoise, materialized behind the trapped criminals, completing their encirclement.

Now Butch and Cassidy found themselves completely surrounded by Green's Pokemon team.

"Wait! We can negotiate this peacefully!" Butch called out desperately.

Seeing Green's growing impatience and watching as both Blastoise and Jigglypuff closed in on their position, Butch felt his anxiety spike dramatically.

"If you have something to say, speak quickly," Green replied sweetly. "I don't have unlimited time to waste here."

While Green appeared patient on the surface, she deliberately continued allowing Jigglypuff and Blastoise to advance closer to their trapped opponents.

Her strategy involved applying gradual pressure to Butch and Cassidy, steadily approaching them to systematically break down their psychological defenses.

This represented a simple but effective psychological tactic, and for someone as cunning as Green, it was merely child's play to execute successfully.
