He halted his forward elbow strike, turned his body sideways, and allowed the blade to slice a two-inch gap in his combat suit. Then, leaping high into the air, he lashed out with his muscular left leg, aiming a fierce kick straight at Ino's face.
"Recoome Kick!"
"Crude technique!" Ino swung her sword to meet him. Her blade never strayed from the enemy's vital points. Recoome dared not meet the sword strikes head-on; he dodged left and right, becoming somewhat annoyed.
Recoome was different from the Earthlings who used ki; his battle power performance was consistently stable. Whether it was when he first descended or during combat, it basically hovered around 45,000 with very little fluctuation.
Ino could raise her output to the level of Kaio-ken x3 and clash with the enemy head-on, but that was the Saiyan style of fighting, not hers.
Gathering intelligence on the enemy, then weakening them, and finally defeating them with a single strike—this was the ninja way of battle.
utilizing the intervals between attacks, she flicked her wrist, continuously rotating the sword blade. Fragments of light scattered in all directions. Recoome, assuming it was another technique like the Solar Flare, narrowed his eyes, focusing only on her hands and the hilt, avoiding the blade itself.
Gaining a brief window of opportunity, Ino immediately took a deep breath. Chakra gathered in her chest and abdomen, then was expelled with force.
"Water Release: Super Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave!"
Like a dam bursting, a massive breach suddenly appeared in mid-air, and a raging torrent of floodwater poured down.
"Boring trick." Recoome really couldn't see the use of this move. They were currently fighting in the air; apart from drowning the Earthlings, what effect could this flood possibly have?
Krillin cried out in alarm, wanting Ino to stop this technique.
However, the reinforcement clasped her hands together. The temperature in the air instantly dropped to freezing point. The floodwater suspended briefly in mid-air, and then, a dense, endless array of ice crystals surrounded the battlefield.
Atop residential roofs, beside small rivers, on trees, and along hillsides—smooth ice mirrors appeared everywhere.
Sunlight danced continuously between the mirrored surfaces, as if one were suddenly placed in an ocean of light. Ino's shoulders swayed, and her figure turned semi-transparent. Like a ripple of water, she merged into an ice mirror behind her.
The surrounding light grew more and more intense. Let alone Recoome, even Krillin, who frequently used the Solar Flare, felt it was dazzling and couldn't help but shield his eyes with his hand.
Recoome struck a rocket pose and flew high into the sky, attempting to escape this battlefield. But he discovered that as he ascended, the ice mirrors formed from water vapor ascended with him. This boorish fellow's strength was too great; relying on the Kaio-ken x2 could not suppress him at all.
She adjusted her breathing rhythm. A large amount of red steam rose from her body, her heart operated at overload, and her blood vessels continuously supplied energy to her whole body.
"Kaio-ken x3!"
Recoome was greatly startled: "Unimaginable! A battle power as high as 45,000! This is already about the same as mine!"
"About the same? You're far off!" Ino jumped out abruptly from behind him, grabbed Recoome's pineapple head, forced his head down, and violently smashed it against the ice mirrors along their path.
Previously, Recoome had used his hardest skull bone to smash them; now Ino was using his face to do the smashing. The effect was certainly different.
Her ice mirrors now were a hundred times stronger than during Haku's era. Not only were they sturdy, but they were also exceptionally sharp.
Countless wounds were added to Recoome's cheeks, arms, and neck. One wound on his cheekbone was deep enough to expose the bone, bleeding profusely. He struggled with all his might. His monstrous strength was indeed formidable; lifting his elbow, side-kicking, every strike carried immense power.
Ino was forced to let go. Recoome spun around violently.

An obscure light rippled in Ino's eyes.
"Rinnegan: Reflection!"
The anticipated reflection did not fully take effect. The enemy's strength was too great; only one-third was reflected back. This brawny man's face, chest, lower abdomen, and arms were struck continuously more than a dozen times by his own fists. His combat suit shattered on the spot, and even one of his teeth was knocked out.
"Pretty tough! But I've finally found you!" He first shut his mouth, then opened it abruptly: "Recoome Eraser Gun!"
A gigantic pillar of energy destroyed all the ice mirrors in its path. Krillin hurriedly dodged into the distance. Ino flew into the sky, realizing that this shockwave spewed from his mouth was ignoring the ice mirrors and tracking her. She looked sharply at Recoome.
"Time Freeze!"
Recoome was "frozen" for a full second. The energy supply for the shockwave was cut off. Ino slightly adjusted her direction and guided the remaining shockwave toward the sky.
"Amazing! Your esper abilities are no worse than Guldo's! And your battle power is stronger. Are you a special alien who possesses both esper abilities and combat capabilities? Truly rare, I must hurry and tell the Captain!" Recoome spoke with a tone full of a collector's obsession, excitedly acting as if he had discovered some treasure.
"You make me more and more sick!" Ino felt uncomfortable all over being coveted by these guys!
It was as if she had already achieved success in her career, and then a few homeless people came to find her, inviting her to join them so everyone could go beg for food together.
Seeing Recoome about to say something else, she scolded him angrily: "Shut up!"
The two clashed together again.
Through a series of battles, Ino had already figured out the opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
This guy had no brains and frequently fell into his own delusions. Genjutsu didn't work at all. Taijutsu? To be honest, Ino didn't have that kind of ruthlessness; she couldn't beat him in taijutsu. The combination of Rinnegan: Reflection plus the Fourth Mizukage's Water Release: Water Mirror Technique worked best against this brute.

Recoome was beaten black and blue by his own signature moves, and Ino would sneak in a couple of sword strikes when he wasn't looking. In less than ten moves, he was already at a distinct disadvantage.
He was a brute, not a fool. Both sides had the same battle power, but the opponent had esper abilities and he didn't; this fight was too disadvantageous.
Ino hit him with a Time Freeze, increasing her pupil power output to extend the freeze time to two seconds. Recoome's muscles bulged like steel, yet he was still stabbed three times in succession. One of the strikes nearly pierced his heart; it wasn't that he dodged quickly, but purely because his physiological structure resulted in his heart being in a different position.
He was forced to call for reinforcements: "Hey! Burter, are you there yet? You're really disgracing your title as the fastest in the universe!"
A lazy voice came from the battle power detector: "Actually, I've already arrived!"
