The Supreme Kai belonged to everyone; Majin Buu could absorb them, so naturally, Yamanaka Ino could absorb one too.
Majin Buu could swallow them whole, absorbing the South Supreme Kai and Grand Supreme Kai casually because his own battle power was high. Ino, a weak little chicken, had to exhaust her wits and risk her old life just to absorb a single remnant soul.
