Chapter 428 - Outsiders will be slaughtered.

"Kael, how much longer do we have to walk?"

Kayden questioned with a bored look on his face.

"I told you it was better to fly, but you didn't agree."

Kael answered directly. The sight was still fresh in his mind, so he wasn't in the mood for any jokes or light-hearted conversation.

"Only a monster like you can fly in this weather."

Kayden groaned as he looked at the sky.

Kael did the same. Just as he and Lavinia entered Korvath's office to bring him and a few other men to see what the two of them saw, the weather outside changed.

The momentary relief that the skies had blessed them with was now over, and snowfall had begun again.

This time, however, it wasn't just the harmless snow falling on the ground. It was accompanied by strong winds, making the snow feel like ice shards that attacked every being in its presence. Not just that, this storm also limited their vision and slowed their movement.
