Cirri called in worry, but Kael didn't give in—
"I've seen worse."
He answered, his eyes still flaring with determination.
In the end, he clenched his sword tightly again and—
With blood dripping from his arm and sparks lighting the sky above—
He jumped up.
The battle continued. More than a few minutes had passed since the Sky Kingdom soldiers had been fighting Kael. The 'surprise' factor Kael once held was now gone.
His tricks no longer stunned them or made them stare at each other without answers. Yes, he was still a difficult opponent to defeat, no doubt.
But…
The Sky Kingdom was one of the four strongest powers in all of Nerathis. Its soldiers weren't like others; to join the Sky Army, these people had begun their training before they turned ten. It wouldn't be wrong to say that they had dedicated their entire lives to this.
