At a high-rise apartment-

Just like a discarded soda, I'm left on the couch alone. I had a feeling that this would happen when Kate was looking at me while we were at work today… but it's not like I can say no, she is the "boss" after all… She's the one that took me in when my family cast me out. There's really nowhere else to go for me… The only thing that I can do to mitigate this is to smoke. I won't lie that I actually hated the idea of smoking until I overheard that Kate also hated it; as well as many clients.
"Haaah- hm?"
Just then, my phone buzzes on the table nearby as I go to read the message.
Nicole: "Hey, is it really okay for me not to work after school?"
This girl… Even after everything she still wants to work… and at weekdays at that?
Misa: "Yeah, it's fine. Just focus on school."
When we talk like this, sometimes I feel like a mother…
Nicole: "What about during the holidays?"
Geez… Just how persistent is this girl? I know she said she wants to be able to look after her family, but she needs to look after herself damn it.
Misa: "As long as you put your family first. If there's time for it, then sure."
I almost didn't want to send that message, but I'm not that heartless to have her dismiss her family… I don't want to see her going down the same road as I did…

God it's cold… I'd prefer doing it with clothes on, but Kate just loves stripping everything off of me when we do it… Well, we're done now anyways, so I guess I'll get changed.
Next morning in Luna's apartment-
"Mmmmm… Hm-mmm~"
Waking up, I was nervous about whether I'd caught Reina's fever, but after waking up, I still feel normal. As for Reina-
"Heh-ehehee~"
She's looking a lot better. I can't help but smile seeing her sleeping away next to me, cuddling up with me as my arm is completely wrapped with her body; or more specifically, her breasts.
I can't help but recall the sounds Reina was making when I was wiping down her body, and even though it was through a wet cloth, her body felt incredible to touch. OH GOD! Stop thinking about that Luna! That's weird! There's no way I could say something like that to Reina. The sounds she was making… I had to make it as fast as possible for her sake; but also for my own. I can already imagine what she'd say or even the look she'd give me if I said I'd wanted to feel her body a bit longer-

"Oh? Good morning~"

Her eyes only opened enough for our eyes to meet before she immediately closed them, still cuddling up with my arm. Is it just me, or is Reina a bit more affectionate than usual? Sure she'd sleep with me like this at times, but she'd normally let go a some point. This time however, she didn't let go, not once throughout the night.
"How're you feeling?"
"Mmmmm, better… My head still feels a bit whoozy though…"
"Whoozy, huh? Alright, I'll go get you some water-"
"Mmm~ Don't get up~! Stay with me for a while longer~"
Before I could even attempt to even sit up however, Reina tightened her hold around my arm in her half-asleep state as I can't help but feel just how soft her body is…
"Hnnnn~ C-come on, Reina. It's morning."
"Please~ Just five- no, one more hour~"
"You sure escalated that one, huh…"
"Fufufu~"
"...Haaah. Alright. But just for a bit, okay?"
I guess I'll let her indulge for a bit longer. It's only 6am, so we still have time to get ready.
"Just don't fall back asleep, okay?"

"Oi!"

After sleeping in a bit, I eventually arrive at school after parting with Reina as she wanted to check in on Anna as she couldn't come yesterday. Reina said she's feeling okay enough to go to school, but just to be safe, she's currently wearing a mask. If it gets too bad though, I'll bring her straight back home immediately.
But the moment I enter my classroom-
"L-Luna!"
Midori flings herself at me the moment I walk through the door. Thankfully I'm strong enough to hold her weight as I could've easily fallen back.
"Midori? What's-?"
"I'm sorry!"
"...Huh?"
Looking out above Midori's head, it doesn't seem like many students have arrived, only Midori and a few others.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you… I was just so scared… especially when you didn't come to school yesterday."
Is that what this is about? I mean, sure I was a bit worried that she didn't respond to any of my texts, but-
Just then, I recall the time when Midori kissed me… That was what caused all of this, right?
"Pfft. It's okay, Midori."
Well, I better be relaxed for her. I can feel her hands trembling slightly on my arms.
"No it-"
"I was just busy taking care of my sister. She fell sick yesterday so I took the day off to nurse her."
"E-eh?"
"Nn. So don't worry so much. I'm not mad or anything. Also… there's other people here…"
"Ah- right!"
In a hurried fashion, Midori steps away from me, patting her clothes down as I move away from the doorway, letting other students funnel inside. It seems like we drew quite a crowd from behind me as well it seems…
Throughout school, I was hoping to maybe get some clarification on that "kiss" from that day, but the opportunity never showed itself. Today was also the first time in a while that we all sat down in the cafeteria together. Reina also brought Anna with her as our group ended up being too big for the table we usually sat at, forcing us to move to a larger table where more of the other students seemed to gather. It was then that all eyes were on our table; I can more or less understand why.
"You two really do look so much alike."
Shin is the first to speak up, speaking the thoughts of everyone in the cafeteria I'm sure of.
"Everyone's staring…"
Reina however seems quite uncomfortable by all the attention as she inches closer to my side, our shoulders now leaning against one another.
"Who can blame them? Was big enough with just Luna, but now that we have two of you, I can more or less understand, haha."
Nicole speaks up, saying as if everyone staring is just a matter of fact; which doesn't seem to have helped Reina at all. So, I end up moving a hand onto her thigh, trying to calm her down if at all, but that only seemed to have made it even worse as Reina tenses up beside me.
"Hey, you alright?"
I can't help but ask quietly as our group continues to eat.
"Y-y-yes…"
"Hehe. I thought you wouldn't mind the stares as much?"
"W-well… There wasn't as many people in the country…"
Ah… I guess I can understand that. When we were little, we slowly got used to the glares, mostly due to our brother always being there to protect us. But I guess for Reina who has been away from the city for so long, I guess she needs to re-adjust… However-
"…"
Something still feels off about her… When she removes her mask between bites, I can see that her face has grown a little bit flushed. She doesn't look "bad" per se, but I can't help but worry…
"Oh! I almost forgot. Now that we're all here, what are we doing for Christmas?"
Before I could act though, Nicole brings up something that made both Reina and I nearly jump out of our seats.
"W-well… We could have it at my place like usual?"
"But we could do something more fun, Midori~ I have a job now, as well as Luna, so we could totally do something fun!"
"Don't just try and use Luna's money, Nicole."
"Ahah. Well, think about it? We could take a train to let's say I dunno… an amusement park?"

Both Reina and I refuse to chime in as we just go back to eating our food. The redness on Reina's face also seems to have dissipated so I guess I was worried over nothing.
"Hell yeah! Nicole, great idea! I'll try and save some of my allowance as well to help!"
Looks like Shin seems to be excited about the idea, and seeing Shin looking at Zhen, it seems like both of them are keen for it… I end up breathing a sigh, resigning to the idea.
"L-Luna… What about you?"
Midori just like usual notices my reaction, however small… Or it could just be 'cause of how conscious she's been of me lately?
"I'm fine with it as long as Reina is."
"E-eh? Sis?"
She ends up tightening her hold on my clothes, crumpling them in between her fingers.
"Do you not want to go?"
"...I'll go if you go, sis."
"Right, then that's all settled! Let's end this year off with a bang, everyone~!"
After school, I went to work while thinking about the amusement park trip that we discussed with everyone. Of course I get why Reina is scared to go, I am too. I still remember the nightmares I have during those times...
"Sorry again for not being able to work yesterday…"
"It's okay, it's okay. You said you had to take care of your sister, right? Now go on. Can't let your sister wait."
I finished up earlier than usual. I would've liked to stay and help out, but today was so barren that I only served 4 customers. I just hope the manager doesn't pay me for yesterday… He's always been like that…
After making my way back to our apartment, I take off my wig as the wave of itchiness from my scalp surges forth.
"I'm home~"

Hmm? No response? Is Reina out somewhere? No, she's still a bit sick, it'd be stupid to go out, especially around this time. I checked the forecast on my phone as it's said to be snowing again fairly soon. However… The thought of Reina being outside does get my heart racing as I quickly search around our apartment. My worries would quickly be for naught as when I open the bedroom door, I feel a gust of cold wind flood through from the open balcony. And there, standing outside-
"Reina?"
"Sis? W-welcome back-"
"It's cold! Come on, get back inside."
She slowly makes her way inside as I close the balcony sliding door, however it was far too late as now the whole apartment is chilling cold. I quickly go to grab the blanket from the bed to wrap around Reina, but before I could even get a hold of it, I feel myself being pushed down onto the bed as I quickly find myself now on my back with Reina towering above me, her hands on both sides of me, trapping me in place.
"R-Reina?"
"…"
She says nothing, yet her eyes tell everything I need to know. Her strained eyes, staring straight into my own, but I know her actual gaze is somewhere else entirely, looking through me; in a distant past. It's then that I see a few tears beginning to form in the bottom of her eyes before I could say anything else as I feel a single tear drop onto my cheek.
"…"
Choosing to not say anything, I instead wrap my arms around Reina, gently pulling her down, resting her head on my chest as I gently caress her hair with my fingers. Her arms nestle themselves around my sides as I continue to stroke her hair, trying to calm her down. I really don't want to see my sister like this… Just seeing her about to cry made my heart feel like it was being wretched out of me.
"...Sorry. Maybe I should've stayed rather than going to work."
"Mm-mmm… You had work, sis…"
"Even still… You're more important."
I tighten my hold around her with one hand as I continue stroking her head with my other.
"I'm scared…"
"About the trip?"
"...Mm."
"Same here."
"Really?"
"Nn. How could I not? It was the last place we went... as a family…"
Even now as I say it out loud, even after all this time, I still struggle to get those words out.
"But you sounded so calm during lunch…"
"Well… I just didn't want to let everyone else down."
"...You've changed, sis."
"Yeah… Maybe a little."
I think back on the time when I snapped at Kai during that one time, creating a whole scene. If the me now was back in that time, I probably wouldn't have snapped at all.
"Hehe, but I'm not the only one. You've also changed quite a bit, Reina."
"Eh?"
"Nn. During primary school, you used to not care about others, yet during lunch you were so nervous. It was cute seeing you react like that."
"C-cute?"
"And how you speak on the phone with Yume. You two sound as if you've been long time friends. Not to mention you know how to bake. I'm still craving more of those cookie muffins, hehe."
"Hnnng~ Those were meant to be cookies…"
"Even so, you're not so focused on mistakes anymore like in the past, right?"

Like how she'd constantly ask our mom about her writing, wanting to make sure whatever she was doing was as perfect as it could be. I was also the same, but I guess I didn't have as much drive as Reina did.
"Plus, you're adorable like this-"
I say as I glide my fingers as far down her hair as I can, running my fingers down her back in the process.
"-I don't remember having such a cute sister, hehe."
"Sis…"
"Hmm?"
She shuffles back up, propping herself above me once more as my hands find themselves rested on her waist. Her gaze meeting my own as I feel as though I'm caught up seeing both mine and her reflections like some sort of illusion. Only her gaze is not strained or pained like before. No… Her eyes are beaming straight at me, not to some distant past… In the next moment, we both close our eyes at the same time as I feel the familiar soft, warm sensation on my lips. I can feel her heart beat through our chests as our breasts press up against each other. The combined sensation gets my own heart beating faster as I feel Reina's also beginning to race.

When Reina broke the kiss to catch a breath, I thought that would be it, but she quickly resumes the kiss, pressing up against me forcefully, catching me off guard. It's only then do I realize that now I'm the one out of breath as I quickly break the kiss, panting for air.

But no sooner did I take my breath, Reina closed the distance once more, catching my open mouth with her own.

Before I knew it, I felt something wet enter my mouth, intertwining itself with my tongue. Wait… this is-!

Finally, Reina releases me as we're both left panting as a sole strong of saliva is the only thing connecting between us before breaking a few moments later.

But before I could ask what that was, I notice Reina biting her lip as her eyes squint in pain, rendering me speechless.

"Huh?"
"You hated that, right?"

It was most certainly something we've never done before. Normally our kisses are meant to be to comfort one another, while also being something to re-affirm our bond. But this kiss just now…
"...It felt different… but I wouldn't say I hated it."
More than anything, I'm just curious as to why.
"I don't know why I- did something like that…"
Seems like Reina answered my question before I could answer.
"My body just felt so hot… I felt like I needed more, but then my body… I-"
"Pfft."
"Eh?"
"You feel hot? Even after you made the whole room a freezer?"

Hearing her laugh does ease my worries, but I can't help but latch onto the words she said just now.

"I will admit, you gave me one hell of a surprise, but if I know it's coming, then… I don't think I mind."
"Re-really?"
"Nn. So let your older sister spoil you a bit, hehe."
I say as I gently brush the hair that got out of the hairclip back behind her ear.
"I-is it really okay?"
"Nn."
I will admit though, as cold as the room is right now, I can understand what Reina means with her feeling hot…
So, as if to continue where we left off, I brought Reina back down as our lips interlocked once more, only this time I open my mouth freely as Reina also does the same. Our tongues gently caress and play with each other as if seeking comfort, our hands also end up finding each other as our fingers interlock with one another. I can't help but begin to understand just how comforting this feeling is. Her warmth feel like not only on top of me, but also deep inside… I almost don't want to stop, but after a few more moments, we both break away, our breaths now a lot more relaxed.
"...Fufu."
"Hehe."
We both break out into a laugh before Reina collapses back down beside me. Her smile only adding to the warmth that's steadily growing in my chest.
"Thank you, sis."
"No problem. I enjoyed it as well."
"Mm… I could feel it."
Reina looks a lot more happy now as her bright smile returns as she lays beside me. However that wouldn't last long as the bone chilling air creeps over us once more, causing us both to quickly pull the blankets up over us, huddling up together under the covers.
"This sure takes me back."
"Mmm~ But our home did have AC…"
"Sorry… We'll just have to make do like this."
"I don't mind this…"
Reina cuddles up even more, wrapping her arms around me as I too do the same, sharing our body heat with one another as much as possible as even our legs become interlocked. That said… We still need to have dinner… Haaah~ but I guess that can wait a bit longer until the room warms up a bit… If it ever does.
