"I see…"
It wasn't perfect, but the logic more or less connected.
Morin looked up at Malvis again.
Their eyes met, and Malvis gave him a playful smile and a wink.
It suited him so well that Morin's heart skipped a beat.
"Well then, let's get going. A spatial jump would be the fastest."
"Mother, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a study abroad?"
Malvis chuckled at Qi Yu's immediate suggestion to teleport them.
Then he stepped beside Morin, who still looked unsure.
"Exploring the city is part of the experience, isn't it? We'll walk."
"It's a hassle, though."
"If you think walking fifteen minutes is a hassle, you won't get anywhere in this country," Malvis said with a soft smile, gazing down at him.
His gentle purple eyes were focused only on Morin, and it made Morin's heart flutter again.
"Do you tired, Morin?"
"Huh? No, I'm okay."
"Good. I'll give you a brief tour of the city as we walk. Your lodging is right off the main street, so you won't get lost."
