The air was thick with tension. Or maybe awkwardness. Or maybe it was just Aoi-in-Hana's-body sweating buckets. Hard to tell.
I leaned forward, eyeing each of the girls slowly.
Sip.
"You're holding and sipping that cup like... Mei."
The girl in Aisha's body froze mid-sip.
Like literally froze.
She slowly set the cup down, hands trembling slightly.
"T-That's not true," she mumbled, avoiding eye contact.
I narrowed my eyes.
"You're even fidgeting like Mei. And your face's all red."
She squeaked.
I leaned closer, elbows on the desk.
"Are you roleplaying Mei right now...?"
Her shoulders jumped.
"Y-Yes! I mean... It's not like I am roleplaying Mei or anything..." eyes glued to the floor.
"Huh... that's suspiciously specific."
Behind her, Mei (or maybe-not-Mei?)
Meanwhile, I turned to do some paperwork—trying to ignore the rising chaos in the room.
Then I felt it.
A presence beside me. Warm. Soft. Familiar.
It wrapped around my arm like a gentle ribbon.
"Hana?" I asked without thinking. "What? Want a kiss?"
All four girls stiffened.
The one hugging me went rigid.
"...Huh?" came a confused voice.
I turned my head. My eyes met Mei's face.
But something was off.
She was hugging me tightly. Her cheek nuzzled against my arm, and she pressed her chest against me like it was the last hug she'd ever give.
Too much affection. Too little resistance.
Definitely not Mei.
"...Are you Hana?"
Mei's lips curled into the brightest smile I'd ever seen on that face.
"Yes! It's me!" she sang. "Oh~ I love you so much! You found me even though I wasn't in my real body~!"
I blinked twice. "Wait. WHAT?"
The rest of the girls collectively groaned.
"Alright, alright!" Akemi twirled dramatically in midair. "I might've done a teensy weensy little spell."
I narrowed my eyes. "So… you SWAPPED SOULS?!"
"Yes!" Akemi clapped. "Isn't it AWESOME?! Now… let's play a game!"
She flew above me, glowing with excitement.
"Guess who is who. If you really love us, you should know!"
I smirked.
"Oh, challenge accepted."

Round One: Interrogation
I pointed at "Aisha" sipping coffee.
"Definitely Mei. She's trembling like the coffee's spiked with chili sauce."
"W-what?! I'm composed!" Mei-Aisha huffed, pink spreading across her cheeks.
"Next," I pointed at "Hana" who looked like she was trying to phase into the wall.
"You're Aoi. You've been avoiding eye contact since I stepped in."
She turned red and nodded meekly. "S-senpai... you're too good…"
Then I looked Aoi.
"Aisha?"
She gave a small, proud nod. "Correct."
"And of course," I turned to Akemi, floating like the smugest cloud in history, "you're still the chaos gremlin who caused this."
"Bingo!" she chimed, doing a ghostly backflip midair.

The girls all relaxed, impressed and defeated.
"Wow," Aisha (in Aoi's body) muttered. "He really does know us."
"Tch. Whatever," Mei-Aisha pouted, arms crossed. "I wasn't trying."
"You were shaking so hard, I thought you'd spill your spleen," Hana-Mei teased.
"I'll spleen you!"
Akemi floated lower. "Welp! Time to switch you all back!"
Everyone cheered.
Then she grinned.
"…Except, I can't."
Record scratch.
Silence.
"EH?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T?!" Mei-Aisha shrieked.
Akemi raised her hands defensively. "Let me finish! I can swap you back… but only if a condition is met."
"What kind of anime BS is this now?!" Hana-Mei shouted.
Akemi wiggled her fingers mysteriously.
"Each of you must be kissed… so passionately, so soul-shatteringly, that your soul gets knocked back into your own body!"
I paused.
Then stood up, cracking my knuckles like a man preparing to save the multiverse.
"Say no more. I will never miss the opportunity to kiss my babes."
The girls stared at me.
Aoi-Hana gasped. "S-senpai…!"
Aisha-Aoi tilted her head. "You're so cute…"
Mei-Aisha turned red. "B-BAKA! It's not like I w-want to be kissed by you in this weird form or anything…!"
Hana-Mei purred. "Naughty~"
I rubbed my hands together. "Alright. Who's first?"

Round One: Mei (in Aisha's body)
"I—!!" Mei tried to run, but I grabbed her waist, dipped her low like we were ballroom dancing, and kissed her hard.
"MMPPH?!"
Her eyes widened in shock as I devoured her lips. My tongue tangled with hers. Her legs kicked like an angry cat.
When we pulled apart—
POP!
A pink wisp escaped her mouth like a bubble. It hovered for a second, then shot across the room and slammed into Mei's real body.

Round Two: Aoi (in Hana's body)
"P-please go easy!" she whimpered.
I swept her into a bridal carry. "Sorry, Aoi-chan. No mercy."
I kissed her deeply, hands steady on her waist as she melted like butter.
Her body twitched.
POP!

Round Three: Aisha (in Aoi's body)
She adjusted her collar.
"Let's do it properly."
I took her hand and kissed her fingers, then pulled her in.
This kiss was slower. Sweeter. Our lips locked in perfect sync, as though we were dancing to a rhythm only we could hear.

Final Round: Hana (in Mei's body)
She grinned at me with Mei's tsundere face.
"Oh no. You don't get to make the rules."
She pushed me onto the couch and straddled me.
"Wha—?!"
Before I could react, she planted her lips on mine and kissed me with so much force, my vision blurred.
POP!

Now, their soul was floating, hovering above our head and their bodies laid on the sofa.
"Akemi..."
"As you wish!"
The same lightning came out of her finger and their got back inside their own body.
All of them were back.
Panting.
Disoriented.
Lips wet.
"THAT," Akemi clapped, "was the hottest exorcism I've ever seen."
I flopped back into my chair. "Never again."
Mei panted. "If you ever try that on purpose—"
"—You'd still enjoy it," Hana teased.
Aoi covered her face. "S-senpai's kisses are too much…"
Aisha blinked back into her real self, touching her lips. "That was... unnecessarily amazing."
"Just doing my job."
Akemi floated above them all with a wide grin.
"Let's swap again tomorrow."
"NO!!!" everyone screamed.
