Chapter 270 - SPOP Chapter 268 How Dare You Hit Me?

After Commodore led the remaining soldiers in a hasty retreat from Ilinulay Palace, they were met by a group of heavily armored men in black.

"The Marines are unreliable, and even you Army soldiers are so easily defeated?" the leader sneered, his middle-aged face contorted in contempt.

"Hmph." Commodore recognized the men's uniforms and snorted coldly, too lazy to respond. He quickly led his men away.

It was true that the Army was responsible for the safety of the Celestial Dragons, but there was no need for them to sacrifice themselves completely. Their detachment had already suffered heavy casualties in the brief skirmish, and they were naturally unwilling to fight any further.

Besides, if the sky fell, taller men would have to bear the burden. Who better to take the blame than those Marines? Rumor had it that their headquarters had been attacked, and they were currently embroiled in a war, which had given the pirates their chance.

It was truly laughable. The Holy Land, home to the Celestial Dragons, had been infiltrated by pirates. Even more unbelievable, the pirates had taken Celestial Dragons hostage.

What a colossal joke! Kimluns would have loved to see it.

Turning his back to the black-clad figure, he quickly took several steps, creating distance between them.

"Surround the Ilinulay Palace! If necessary, destroy it outright!"

Faintly, Kimluns heard the black-clad figure's cold command, which startled him.

These people were truly audacious. Celestial Dragons were still inside. But then, a chill ran down Kimluns' spine as he realized they were planning to kill with a borrowed blade.

If he wasn't mistaken, the group that had just passed by were the personal guards of another Celestial Dragon family—one with a long-standing feud with the Ilinulay Family!

"Mad, I thought the Marines and Army system was deep, but even these arrogant Celestial Dragons are playing in murky waters!"

Taking a deep breath, Kimluns quickened his pace and left the area.

A chill ran down his spine. He had no doubt that if he hadn't chosen to retreat earlier, he would have been caught in the crossfire when those guards attacked.

In that case, his death would have been utterly meaningless!

Ilinulay Palace.

The middle-aged Ilinulay stood at the palace entrance, his face as dark as a thundercloud as he watched the chaotic scene below—black-clad guards scrambling in panic.

"Master, the Army has retreated!"

A terrified servant rushed over, his face pale with fear.

Hearing this news, Ilinulay's expression darkened even further.

"What about the intruder who broke into the palace? Was he eliminated?" Ilinulay demanded loudly.

"No, sir, he... they... are heading this way!" The servant's voice trembled with terror.

Ilinulay froze, then erupted in fury. "Those useless fools! They couldn't even capture a mere thief who broke in here, and they retreated instead!"

"Damn them!"

At the same time, a chilling premonition crept into Ilinulay's heart.

'Who are these people? Their target is so clear, aimed directly at my family. And what's even more suspicious is the army's inaction!'

He couldn't believe that a few people could overwhelm the forces stationed here. They had more than just one unit guarding this place.

"Damn it! Do these people even have the Celestial Dragons in their eyes anymore?" Ilinulay roared in a rage.

As his furious shout echoed through the palace, the main gates of the palace suddenly crashed open with a thunderous boom.

Chaotic energy blasts tore through the air, shattering the beautiful gardens and rare vegetation, leaving them as devastated as the Donglai Estate—a scene of utter devastation.

Five figures strode through the dust and smoke, the burly leader's face contorted in a ferocious grimace, his imposing aura fierce and unyielding.

"Where's that old geezer Ilinulay? Get your ass out here, you son of a bitch!"

The roar exploded, echoing through the entire palace.

A collective gasp swept through the hall.

What audacity! To dare curse at a Celestial Dragon so brazenly!

It's over! This will unleash the Celestial Dragons' boundless fury!

As expected, the next moment, Ilinulay's face turned crimson, his entire body trembling. Everyone knew the noble Celestial Dragon was enraged.

Ignoring the fear in everyone's eyes, Jason and his group advanced, swiftly dispatching the remaining black-clad guards with a few punches and kicks. They soon stood before the palace doors.

"Are you Ilinulay?"

Jason's eyes turned icy as he glared at Ilinulay, his voice booming with cold fury.

Ilinulay's face twitched, and he was about to explode with rage.

"How dare you address the noble Celestial Dragons so casually!"

"Do you want to die?" he roared.

"Oh?"

But Jason's expression grew even colder. He slapped Ilinulay across the face.

"Noble?"

His strength was immense. The slap left Ilinulay completely stunned, spinning him around in place and causing his cheek to swell up dramatically.

His lips trembled, and Ilinulay was about to burst with fury.

How dare someone slap him!

How audacious! Utterly audacious!!

"Celestial Dragons?"

Jason slapped him again, this time in the opposite direction.

Slap!

Ilinulay couldn't react to Jason's speed and power. He was struck again, and his already swollen cheek puffed up even more, accompanied by a sharp, piercing pain that made him grit his teeth.

At that moment, a foot slammed into his waist, sending him staggering and crashing to the ground.

"Who told you to stand there talking?"

The deep voice echoed in Ilinulay's ears. When he looked up, he saw a menacing face with a cigar clamped between its teeth.

Bang!

A moment later, another foot slammed down onto his chest, pinning him to the ground, unable to move a muscle.

"You dared to treat our comrade like that? Did you really think we'd treat you like a human being today?" Trens said coldly.

Chaporos's eyelid twitched. He couldn't believe these three men were so reckless.

'This is the head of the Ilinulay Family! And here he is, being trampled underfoot by these three.'

At that moment, Chaporos could only see a trio of merciless brutes before him. If they dared to beat up even Celestial Dragons like this, what in the world could possibly stop them?

"Yilu!"

Suddenly, Ilinulay spotted the Lordling standing behind the crowd and shouted out his name.

"It's you! It's actually you!"

Ilinulay was stunned, but a surge of even greater fury welled up within him.

"You vile woman! I should have executed you long ago!"

"You've insulted the Celestial Dragons!"

"You deserve to die!"

Ilinulay roared in rage, his heart ablaze with murderous intent.

He regretted his hesitation. He should have strangled her the moment she spoke, before she could summon this mob of barbarians to attack him.

What an utter humiliation! He could already imagine the scandal that would erupt if word of this spread. The Ilinulay Family's reputation would be ruined, and they would never be able to hold their heads high among the Celestial Dragon clans again.

Slap!

A stinging slap landed across Ilinulay's face, leaving him reeling. When he saw who had struck him, his disbelief deepened.

"You... you actually dared to hit me?"
