The warm spring breeze blew gently.
During the lunch break, Sona appeared with her Peerage on the terrace.
Now, more than 10 people were gathered on a gigantic cloth on the ground with various bentos.
The moment Zaydas saw this, by reflex, perhaps... He made several golden fruits appear and fall into each person's hand.
Since everyone there had already tasted them before, they looked with desire, but before letting themselves be seduced by it, they looked at Zaydas.
"A small gift for our gathering." Zaydas said: "Enjoy."
Reflexively, they nodded.
On the other hand, Shion, for example, accepted it as if it were something natural, after all, she and the rest were already used to eating golden fruits.
Around them, there was a barrier designed to conceal and prevent the wind from being too strong.
"So, Sona." Zaydas asked, pointing his chopsticks at her: "What's the reason for wanting to talk to me?"
"Two reasons, to be more precise." Sona adjusted her glasses: "First, about what we discussed before about creating a school in your Underworld territory. Second, there will be a meeting between the Devils, Fallen Angels, and Angels, and this meeting will take place on Friday here at this school."
"So, I assume you told me this because my presence is important at this meeting, right?" He smiled a little.
"Yes, not only yours but Rias' as well." She replied.
"So it's really going to happen..." Rias murmured, half-knowing something about it.
"Okay." Zaydas agreed easily, having no reason to refuse.
"That was quick." Sona said: "But I kind of expected that from you."
"Is there going to be a war?" Shion said: "If there is, can I join, Zaydas-sama?"
Why was this girl so violent?
Zaydas pretended to sigh and said: "Shion, you need to learn to be gentler. How can you be looking forward to something like that so easily? But, well, if it happens, you can play a little, just don't cause too much damage, got it?"
Shion's eyes blinked briefly, and soon a predatory smile curved her lips: "Yes, I will listen to Zaydas-sama!"
Sona had a slight impression of Shion; she had seen her fight against Kokabiel, after all.
She thought: 'As expected, there's no way someone from Zaydas' Peerage could be normal. As the saying goes: Like father, like son.'
"That being the case, I'll be in your care again, Zay-kun~" Rias said in a flirtatious tone.
Smiling at her, Zaydas replied: "Of course, you're always welcome. If you want, you can even move into my house."
A red cloud took over Rias' cheeks as she lowered her head. Raising her head a little, it seemed like she considered the idea for a moment, though she felt he was just joking, and replied: "I-I'll think about it."
Normally, a vague response like that meant no. However, everyone there wasn't foolish. That was an obvious 'yes,' but she was too embarrassed to admit it.
'Was this still the Rias I knew?' Sona thought.
Not only her, but everyone from Sona's Peerage who had some understanding of Rias didn't expect her to show this kind of reaction.
Tsubasa, however, had a small revelation from this. She thought: 'So, I wasn't overthinking... Something really happened between Zaydas-sama and Rias-sama...'

Time at school, though precious, was also often quite boring.
For Zaydas, everything he could learn there was so simple it didn't even require effort. He didn't even need to rely on his abilities; it was so simple that it left him bored.
With his hand supporting his chin, he stared at the clouds. Even looking at the clouds seemed more interesting than the lesson.
If only the teacher tried to make the class more fun, instead of just teaching as it's written in the book.
It was like reading a monologue, boring and dull.
Yes, he was there to learn, not to have fun.
However, that ideology was wrong in Zaydas' perception.
Many say it's preparation for adult life. Another mistake.
There are only boring jobs because people were indoctrinated to think that way since school, but there are many who love their work and have fun with what they do. That is living proof that it doesn't need to be so rigid and treat school and work as a mere duty.
If you don't have at least a bit of passion for what you do, in the end, you'll only do a shoddy job.
It's no wonder there are so many products from the same company, some well-made and others full of flaws. Generally, it's the lack of passion for what they do.
Having said all that, Zaydas simply sighed softly.
He didn't even notice that at that moment, everyone was looking at him, even the teacher.
However, even though his actions deserved a reprimand for not paying attention in class, what the teacher did was actually the same as the girls and even the boys in the classroom: they were mesmerized, staring at him as if they were art enthusiasts gazing at the original portrait of the Mona Lisa.
Their immersion was broken the moment Zaydas noticed the uncomfortable silence, as well as several gazes directed at him.
"Huh, sensei, did something happen?" Zaydas asked, seeing everyone, even the sensei, looking at him.
"*Cough*, getting back to what I was saying... What was it again?" The sensei coughed and couldn't even remember where he was before.
*Laughter!*
Sona said, adjusting her glasses: "Sensei, you were talking about Piaget's theory."
"Oh, yes, that's right. Thank you for reminding me, Sona-san." The sensei felt embarrassed but still continued the lesson from where he had left off.
"It was nothing." Sona replied indifferently.
She would never admit that she, too, had been mesmerized by Zaydas' earlier appearance and had even forgotten what they were talking about before. Luckily, her memory was better than most, and thanks to that, she managed to recall quickly.

When Zaydas arrived home with Rias and the rest, his father and mother were waiting.
"There he is. I told you he'd come." His father said in a cheerful tone.
Zatanna pinched and twisted Sirzechs' arm: "Of course he'd come, this is his house. If he didn't come here, where else would he go, huh?"
"Haha, I was joking, it hurts, it hurts, Zatanna, my dear, you're using this to take out your anger on me for something I don't even know about, right? Did you dream about something weird again?" Sirzechs was fearless.
Zatanna twisted even harder before letting go.
"There's no such thing." She turned her face away, looking a bit embarrassed.
'Did she dream that my dad was cheating on her again?' Zaydas thought.
Smiling, Zaydas said: "Mom, Dad, welcome back~"
Going to his mother, Zaydas gave her a tight hug.
His mother kissed his cheek and then stepped back, holding his shoulders, saying: "Look at my big boy, you've changed quite a bit since the last time I saw you. Even though it hasn't been that long, it feels like months. Just look at you, you're getting more and more handsome~ If I weren't your mother, I'd dump your father and chase after you, competing for your attention with all of them~"
She winked.
"Hey, hey!" Sirzechs protested: "Zay takes after me, so you can't be dissatisfied, right? And you have me all to yourself, isn't that better than our stinky son who has more women than a hand can count?"
"Dad, that was so cheesy." Zaydas laughed and added: "And, rest assured, I keep my women more than satisfied."
When he said that, even Grayfia blushed.
No one denied his words. After all, in the end, it was them who couldn't keep up, even when they teamed up against him.
"Hahaha!" Zatanna laughed loudly at the girls' reactions: "See, isn't our son excellent?"
Sirzechs laughed too.
Joking aside, he was his son, and from the looks of it, he managed to keep all his women satisfied. How could he not be proud of him?
