As the sun slowly set, John and his group were getting closer to the Dragon Ball. Suddenly, a missile was fired from a distant mountain, targeting their car.
John punched through the car's roof, pulling Bulma out, while Goku and Oolong jumped out of the vehicle.
As they exited the car, a robot jumped down from the mountain and approached them. It took the six Dragon Balls from their car and then retreated to a nearby plane, flying towards Pilaf's castle.
However, John and his group didn't seem worried, as if they had anticipated this situation.
Bulma asked John, "Is this your plan? We worked so hard to collect six Dragon Balls, only to let the enemy take them. Tell us, what's your plan?"
John smiled and said, "Don't worry. Let's get on the plane, and I'll explain as we fly."
He took out a capsule and transformed it into a plane.
Oolong was surprised and asked, "Why did you use the car instead of the plane? You have capsules for both."
John explained, "We didn't know what kind of enemies or attacks we might encounter while collecting the Dragon Balls. If the plane was hit in the air, how could we safely land?"
"Now we don't need to worry. There's only one enemy left, and we have all seven Dragon Balls. They won't be on guard against us. So, we can chase them in the plane."
Just as John and his group were about to board the plane, Yamcha and Pu'er rushed over. Yamcha shouted, "Are you crazy? You let the enemy take the six Dragon Balls you worked so hard to collect."
When Bulma saw the handsome and wild Yamcha, she was immediately smitten. She thought to herself that she didn't need to collect the Dragon Balls to fulfill her wish anymore. She had a potential target right in front of her.
With this thought, Bulma eagerly grabbed Yamcha's arm and pulled him towards the plane, saying, "Don't worry, John has a plan. But, handsome, do you also want to make a wish with the Dragon Balls? What wish do you want to make?"
"I'll tell you, even if we can't make a wish this time, it's not a big deal. The Dragon Balls can grant wishes every year, so there's no need to worry."
Yamcha had been anxious because his wish couldn't be fulfilled after the Dragon Balls were taken. But now, with Bulma's reassurance, he relaxed.
Bulma's enthusiasm made Yamcha stiff and nervous, his face turning red. He reluctantly allowed Bulma to lead him to the plane.
Pu'er followed behind, flying and worrying about Yamcha's behavior.
Yamcha's fear of girls was a psychological issue, and with time and exposure, he could overcome it. So, after John's plane took off, Yamcha gradually calmed down and started chatting with Bulma.
Once Yamcha relaxed around Bulma, she turned to John and asked, "John, tell us your plan. Why did you let the enemy take all the Dragon Balls?"
Everyone's attention turned to John.
John calmly asked, "Do you think there's a difference between having six Dragon Balls and having one?"
They thought about it, and Yamcha replied, "There's no difference, but as long as you don't have all seven Dragon Balls, you can't summon the Dragon God."
"But now, because of you, the enemy has all seven Dragon Balls!" Bulma exclaimed anxiously.
John continued, "Although we have collected six Dragon Balls, the last one is clearly in the hands of someone else who is also gathering Dragon Balls."
"The Dragon Ball is protected in their castle or base. To take it from them, we would have to break through their carefully designed traps."
"Obviously, even with Goku, and including you, Yamcha, we're not invincible. There are many ways they could defeat us and take the Dragon Balls."
"So, to eliminate their home-field advantage, we need to lure them out. But how can we gather all seven Dragon Balls at the same time?"
John's words made everyone think. Goku, however, remained clueless, looking around in confusion.
Bulma hesitated and said, "Do you want us to gather all seven Dragon Balls and then summon the Dragon God outside their castle?"
John nodded, praising Bulma for her insight. "You're right. To summon the Dragon God, we must go outside their castle. Then, we can defeat them and make our wish directly to the Dragon God."
Everyone understood John's plan, which would avoid fighting the enemy in their stronghold and even have them summon the Dragon God.
Yamcha hesitated and asked, "How can you be sure we can defeat them?"
John smiled and said, "If their strength were truly formidable, they wouldn't have let us collect six Dragon Balls."
Yamcha understood John's point and relaxed.
At that moment, Yamcha thought of another question, "But the Dragon God can only grant one wish. Whose wish will it be?"
Bulma said, "We plan to give the wish to John because he needs it the most. The Dragon Balls can grant wishes every year, so we're not in a hurry."
"What wish do you want to make?"
Hearing Bulma's question, Yamcha blushed and said softly, "I want to ask the Dragon God to help me overcome my fear of girls."
"Huh?" Bulma was speechless at Yamcha's wish.
John said, "Yamcha, your fear of girls is a psychological issue. The Dragon God can't help you with that. It's part of your character. If the Dragon God changes your personality, you won't be Yamcha anymore."
Bulma added, "Yes, you can overcome your fear by spending more time with girls. Like me!" Bulma said the last few words with a shy expression.
