Bill didn't pay much attention to it and prepared to attack, but he was suddenly stopped by a shout from a girl with orange hair: "I won't marry you! Let me go!"
"Kidnapping?" thought Bill, and suddenly he realized that it wasn't quite right to attack everyone in the room. In such a situation, he naturally shouted, "Don't resist! You're under arrest!"
"WHAT?!"
"WHO?!"
"Marines!"
Seeing the group of Marines, the girl with orange hair, dressed in a wedding gown, grabbed her straw hat and ran towards them.
"He's crazy! He kidnapped me from my friends! Help!" she shouted.
The bearded man chasing her exclaimed, "Do you even understand what you're saying?!"Seeing the enormous man charging in pursuit, Bill stepped forward to stop him. Dodging just within an arm's length, he suddenly noticed a rapier aimed directly at his heart.
The swordsman didn't have the chance to strike again because, just as Bill dodged, Sasha appeared beside him and delivered her blow at a forty-five-degree angle.
Ricky also rushed forward to intercept a hefty pirate who had curled into a spiky ball and was heading straight for Bill.
After handling the pirates, Bill reached the girl with orange hair and quickly positioned himself between her and the bearded man. He delivered a powerful uppercut that hit the enemy with a dull "thum."
The pirate was enormous, twice Bill's height, and much broader. He must have weighed a ton because, as he fell, shards of tile and concrete flew into the air.
"Are you okay?" Bill asked the girl with orange hair.
Around him, Sasha and Ricky were fighting the pirates, but Bill knew they could handle it and waited for the girl to come to her senses.
"Why... why are you here?" she asked, looking stunned.
Bill wasn't too surprised—it was natural for such a small girl, who had been kidnapped and nearly forced into marriage, to be in shock.
With a sincere expression, he placed his large hand on her shoulder and said, "We received a report that these pirates had taken the island hostage, but don't worry, now that the Marines are here, we'll definitely do our job. You're safe."
Hearing this, the girl lowered her head, her straw hat concealing her face. She began to tremble and then collapsed to the ground.
Looking at him through tears, she said, "Thank you. I knew the Marines wouldn't leave us in trouble."
Bill smiled again and nodded, hearing noise behind him. Turning around, he saw the enormous man getting back on his feet.
"Are you the one they call King Bear?" he asked in a firm voice.
"You hit me pretty hard!" the man replied, ignoring Bill's question. "But that won't be enough!"
As he walked toward Bill, the man's massive fists began to glow red-hot.
Bill moved forward as well, keeping his hammer ready, wanting to draw the fight away from the woman who was still lying on the floor.
As they closed in, the man shouted, "Special Move: Hot Flame!" — his fists became scorching red.
Preparing for the worst, Bill was momentarily stunned by how this enormous pirate fought. With his burning fists, King Bear spun his arms like a child.
"A windmill?" Bill thought, stepping back a few paces.
However, Bill's confusion did not save the pirate for long. Realizing that this man didn't know how to fight, Bill dodged the spinning arms and delivered a crushing blow to the giant's tiny knee.
With another "thud," King Bear lost his balance and fell, but was hardly damaged. As he got up, his hands scorching the floor, he looked at Bill and burst into laughter.
"You're strong! But so what?!
I ate the Hard-Hard Fruit! My body is as tough as steel; it can't be harmed!"
Hearing this, Bill's eyes narrowed. Of course, he knew this man had an ability, but he thought it was related to fire.
If this man's Devil Fruit was indeed related to durability, it simply meant Bill would have to hit even harder.
While King Bear was still laughing, boasting about his strength, Bill leaped into the air and delivered a powerful blow to his side.
The power of the Devil Fruit was not something to be taken lightly, and when King Bear fell from the impact, he swung his arm, trying to counterattack.
But despite his size and toughness, this man clearly lagged behind Bill in reflexes and strength.
Bill wielded his hammer like a baseball bat, hitting the man over and over again. In such battles, Bill did not tire, and each of his blows was stronger than the last.
After several minutes, as King Bear was hammered into the ground like a nail and tossed around like a ping pong ball, his expression turned exhausted. Bill decided it was time to put the pirate to sleep, and noticing his hammer was already deformed, delivered one last strike.
Closing the distance between them, Bill delivered a powerful kick, sending King Bear into the air.
Then, using the Moon Step at the peak of his abilities, he appeared in the air above his enemy.
"TERRA DESTRUCTION!"
The blow was so powerful that the hammer shattered into thousands of pieces, and the explosive force of the strike sent King Bear crashing down, destroying part of the castle and shaking the entire island.
