Chapter 269 - Let Me Introduce Them

Knov and Morel exchanged surprised looks, so the expedition team wasn't just the three of them? Killua remained silent. There was still one more person coming, but nothing more changed for now.

President Netero chuckled warmly, a spark of curiosity in his eyes as he called out, "Hohoho, wonder how he will come." He had been wondering how Larry would make his entrance.

When Netero had invited Larry the day before, Larry had told him to call whenever he was ready to enter, and he would appear. Although Netero found it a bit puzzling, he had no reason to object and simply followed Larry's instructions.

Knov frowned, voicing his concern, "President, are you really calling the last person over now? Won't that waste too much time?"

They had just reached the entrance, and now they had to wait again, this didn't seem efficient. But before he could finish speaking, a hole suddenly appeared out of nowhere right next to the group.

In an instant, the hole expanded rapidly; countless glass-like fragments scattered and dissolved into the air, transforming the small opening into a passage wide enough for a person to walk through. From within the glowing portal came a hearty voice, "I'm not late, am I?"

Everyone, except Knov, was stunned, including Killua and the others. Even President Netero looked genuinely surprised. "Hohoho, what a surprise! Did you come from the online world?" Netero said with a delighted smile, clearly impressed.

He had expected to teleport Larry here using one of his nen beast's abilities, but Larry had clearly surprised him. Morel and Killua stared silently at the passage, their throats moving as if trying to speak but finding no words.

Upon hearing the familiar voice, they each thought of the same person. Could that last member really be Larry?

The white light in the passage grew brighter, and a figure stepped out, appearing before everyone. When Killua saw that familiar face, he was certain, it was truly Larry.

With a confident smile, Larry waved to Netero and said, "Hey, old man, am I fast enough?" Thanks to Porygon-Z's powers, Larry could travel freely across most of the six continents.

Morel's voice trembled in disbelief. "I didn't expect... even you were sent?" His eyes widened behind his sunglasses as he struggled to believe what he was seeing. Facing someone as powerful like Larry, could they even consider taking action?

"It's been a while since I last saw you," Larry said warmly as he greeted an old friend.

The moment he appeared, a small indicator popped up in his mind, showing a kind of status bar. Since ants are insects, Larry guessed this must be a bug-type Pokémon.

Being a chimera ant from the Dark Continent, it reminded him of the powerful Ant King. The level of this Pokémon was surely no lower than that of the one it had evolved from.

From all the possibilities Larry could think of, this was definitely the best match. Genesect, the legendary Pokémon often hailed as the best among Bug types.

Suddenly, Knov was stunned by Larry's lightning-fast arrival, so quick it seemed like he appeared out of nowhere. Knov's glasses slipped down his nose as he struggled to process this incredible speed.

With his own space ability, Knov understood just how difficult it is to travel through space, but Larry's ability to break through space itself was on a whole different level. After quickly adjusting his glasses, recognition dawned on him, this had to be the legendary Larry!

Realizing who stood before him, Knov's calm demeanor shattered. They had been just talking about Larry moments ago, and now here he was, materializing in the blink of an eye.

Knov had expected to wait for the last member to arrive, but to his surprise, Larry appeared almost immediately after the call. How was this possible?

Larry scanned the room, his gaze finally resting on Gon, who lay exhausted on the ground, and Killua, whose face was now filled with hope.

Killua was a completely different person from the one who had faced Netero earlier, he looked refreshed, energized, and his eyes sparkled with anticipation.

"Now that I'm here, you don't need to worry anymore. Leave the rest to me," Larry said casually, offering reassurance. His arrival clearly surprised everyone, and it was obvious that Killua believed no one else could handle the situation like Larry could.

Killua nodded eagerly, relief washing over him as he finally allowed himself to breathe easy.

Meanwhile, Knov hesitated, glancing at President Netero beside him. "President, do we really need to bring Mr. Larry into this? Isn't it overkill?"

Their team now included four people, two of whom were known as the strongest in the world: the former, President Netero, and Larry, the current strongest fighter. They had joined forces to take on the Chimera Ants.

Even though some ants could use advanced nen abilities, was it really necessary to unleash such overwhelming power? Knov's question hung in the air, highlighting the gravity of the battle ahead.

"Yes, President, there's no need to involve Mr. Larry, right? Just the three of us should be enough," Morel agreed with Knov, feeling that this made perfect sense.

Although they had gathered some information before setting out, they were aware that there were Chimera Ants capable of using Nen. Ants with Nen abilities were certainly impressive, but considering how young these ants were, from birth until now, they wondered how much they could have actually developed. After all, mastering Nen is tough and requires consistent practice over a long time to see real results.

Neither of them fully understood just how dangerous the Chimera Ants from the Dark Continent could be. As experienced hunters, they naturally didn't underestimate their opponents, always maintaining a cautious attitude, that's a fundamental trait for any qualified hunter.

Even though they imagined the Chimera Ants to be as formidable as possible, they still didn't think it was necessary for both Larry and Netero to act simultaneously.

Their judgment wasn't entirely off, and they approached the situation with care. However, they lacked in-depth knowledge about the Chimera Ants from the Dark Continent and couldn't fully grasp just how terrifying their abilities were. Compared to humans, these creatures had incredibly high potential, which only highlighted how unnatural beings from the Dark Continent truly were.

"Morel, I think you might be mistaken," Larry interrupted before President Netero could say anything.

He shook his head, raised a finger, and asked, "Let me ask you two a few questions first. Do you know who these two kids are?"

Morel and Knov exchanged glances, then hesitantly looked at Larry. "Well... no, we don't really know. Who are they?" Morel scratched the back of his head, clearly puzzled.

Could these kids have some kind of significant background?

"Let me introduce them," Larry said calmly. "The boy standing next to you who's still conscious is called Killua, his full name is Killua Zoldyck."

What he said took Morel and the others by surprise. "The Zoldyck? Could it be that legendary assassin family?" Knov was the quickest to react, recognizing the surname as belonging to the world's top assassin family.

"Yeah, Killua is one of the zoldyck. He's said to be the most talented kid of this generation."
