[You have learned a new skill [no-clip]]
[No-clip] lv 1
[Phasing into a different dimension through some quantum tunneling. You have no skill to replicate this effect. Only a bit of knowledge and some luck]
'I landed in a puddle... I'm not going to talk about my reaction.'
"Mother fucking stupid ass puddle! You ruined my fucking shoes! These bitches cost two hundred dollars..."
-present-
'it was a super mature reaction anyway. No need to talk about it' I think as I round a corner and see a wooden crate. I quickly approach it and look inside.
'I see some yarn... is that dentures? It is, oh there's some tape.' I put the whole crate in my inventory. 'Did I mention it was infinite? No, well that's sounds like a personal problem.'
The lights flicker around me so I pause and look around. The area is quiet with a low hanging fog. The grey concrete walls and floor adding to the almost dreary atmosphere. The room I'm in which is one of the larger rooms looks like an indoor parking lot, well the layout does.
After pausing I go to move towards a nearby tunnel. That's when I hear it. A growl cuts through the silence easily.
From around a pillar a dog human mix comes sprinting at me on all fours. I get into a combat stance as it draws near. It jumps toward my face.
But I duck low and throw an uppercut towards it elongated jaw.
[-150 mp]
It's head explodes on contact and the force stops it in its track dropping it in front of my feet.
'Disgusting'

'Noice'
I walk away from the body after testing if I can store it in my inventory. I can so in my inventory it stays.
'Hey system what's the average stats for a human.'
[Awnsering query: the average stats for a human are 10 in all stats. But even then they would be weaker than you as gamers body makes you operate at that stat constantly. No need for adrenaline or manic strength and the such]
'Oh that's cool I was wondering how adrenaline was going to work with gamers mind, but I guess I just don't have it.'
I leave the concrete tunnel I was in. It was square and bland. 'Is that a door? Yooo new door just dropped... I'm so bored.'
I walk towards the door an open it to see a gun stuffed in my face.
"Woah, well nice to meet you too. Is that a gun in my face or are you just excited to see me?" The guy I'm talking too doesn't react much, but then again I can't tell due to the full swat armor.
He pulls out a scanner and puts it to my chest keeping the gun trained on my head. When it lights up green he lowers the gun. "Sorry about that but some people get bitten by hounds and come rushing here thinking we can save them."
He moves to the side a motions for me to step in. "Welcome to first light. I can't guide you as I need to guard the door, but head to that big tent with the green roof."
I squint at the man.

[Tanner Hans] lv 8
[A M.E.G soldier who is trying his best in this horrible situation. He thinks you're different in a good way]
"You must be new at this introduction thing." I hold my hand for a hand shake. "I'm gabriel nice to meet you."
He stares at my hand for a minute then shakes it. "I'm Tanner and I hope it's nice to meet you. We get all sorts that come through here. I'm just hoping my gut feeling isn't wrong about you."
I give a slight smile. "That's an introduction. I'll be going now a big tent with a green roof was it?" He nods I just wave and walk away.
'His gut feeling about me? That might be hopeful aura. Speaking of in this new life what type of person do I want to be? What type of person am I in general? I didn't bat an eye when killing that hound. Was that gamers mind or me?'
I reach the entrance of the tent snapping me out of my thoughts. In this long tunnel there are tents everywhere but this one is the biggest. People are walking every which way and a few point at me.
I step inside the tent and am greeted by a atmosphere that screams government or intense ocd. Everything is put away in its own little erea. It's like a shop at the edges of the tent but in the center is a table with a guy sitting there.
[Colt lounce] lv 6
[A M.E.G soldier who is keeping the vault secure. Don't let his baby face fool you. He can fuck people up. He thinks you seem alright.]
"Welcome to the distribution office im colt, based on your reaction when you walked in your new. Just think of this tent like a storage depo for everyone. Hence the neatness dont want people mixing up there stuff."
I just nod it making sense but still a little confused on why I would be sent here.
"Now your probably wonder why you're here."
'Can he read minds.'
"Basically this tent is also a population counter. You have your own little section of the tent. We give you a paper. You update the paper every 3 days. Makes it easier to run the place. If you don't come back to update the checklist we consider you missing then put your retrieval on the mission board. What happens then is up to the citizens."
I cut in to make sure im understanding. "So basically this tent is your economy. Everything stored in here is something valuable. So if you die your valuables don't perish with you. With a stable way of generating work through updating papers and I'm guessing using those papers to change rules of the place."
He smiles "spot on, it's pretty simple economy but we're making do with what we have. Now you don't seem to have anything to keep safe. So here's the paper your spot is is the second to last shelf on the right, my right. If you see anything you like talk to the person who owns it and make a deal from there."
I head along the left side of the tent (colts right). Looking at each shelf as I pass. There all haphazardly put together with random pieces of wood. With a piece of paper on the top row of each stating there name and what they feel could improve about the settlement. Some have a sticker put beside them.
-approved, mission has been posted-
'Very simple economy and it seems to be working. But I'll hold my judgment until I wander around the settlement.'
I get to my shelf. I put the paper on the top taking the crayon that's on the shelf and writing my name. I leave the paper on the shelf and head to the exit of the tent. But colt stops me to say something.
"As you've just got to the settlement you have 2 days of rest then you have to start working or you'll get kicked out." He then makes a waving motion as if to shoo me.
I just nod and exit the tent.
(A/n this chapter was a little info dump heavy. But if you get dropped into a new society you have to figure out how it works on way or another. This seems the most effective to me.)
