Nik POV
While I hold Kol against the wall but then I heard someone walking as my mother is arriving.
Nik: Look who joined us.
Esther appears as I dropped Kol to the floor.
Nik: Hello mother, I see your awake now.
Esther: Nikole.
Nik: Save it, you let that bastard treat me like that for years, then I found out about that necklace you gave me was charmed to make me weak so I wouldn't become a werewolf, so creating a puppet to fool you all was the right move really. I lived my life without problems from family bonds constricting me but I found love, friends, and those I considered my family but to keep away from you all.
Esther: You deceived your family for a thousand years.
Nik: Yes, and I'm grateful of it as I saw how my family acted when I was happy for once, so my decision was the correct decision. Now you all will show respect to Elena as I value her opinion over yours or I'll put you back.
Then I heard Elena walk in as I could tell she was carrying groceries.
Elena: Nik, I brought the groceries, come and help me cause I'm not doing this alone!?
I smiled to walk to her.
Nik: Coming!
Elena: I mean it!?
I sighed and smiled to take the daggers with me as I walked in to see her putting things away as I vamp sped to put all the groceries in the right places.
Nik: Done.
Elena: Show-off.
Nik: You love it.
Elena: Yes I do, so who were you talking to?
Nik: The family, there awake.
Elena: Oh yay, Rebekah's up, how wonderful.
I heard the boredom in her voice as I giggled.
Elena: Just stay out of our room, especially the one still hung up on Stefan, or is it Matt?
Nik: Isn't Matt your friend?
Elena: Not anymore, none of them are my friends after what they did.
I knew Alaric and Jeremy were her still with her but she knew my family could hear us.
Nik: Do you want them here?
Elena: Let's see, the family who were selfish to not let you be happy, then the mother who let you be abused but knowing she's a powerful witch could make Mikael stop by force, I don't care they stay but this is my house so they will respect me or get out.
It's really my house but it's hers too as they are guest here.
Nik: Right, they won't annoy you if they know what's good for them.
She nodded to walk to kiss me to walk upstairs as I walked to my family.
Nik: You heard, the lady of the house has spoken, behave or get out.
Rebekah seethed as the rest have narrowed eyes at me as I ignored them.
