Faith's POV
Today I am in the same office Felix would absolutely lose his mind over if he knew I was here. Fine, yes, I know I am not supposed to be here. But it is not like I am doing anything terrible… right?
We moved Felix out of his room and into a place I still have no idea about. No one tells me anything, which is why I have to dig around for answers myself.
I reached for the black book I had hidden earlier in a secret spot only I knew about. My fingers brushed over the worn cover before I flipped it open, letting the yellowed pages whisper their secrets to me.
I still wanted to know what this was about, what this book really held, because it felt different from anything I had ever seen before. Different in a way that made my skin prickle. And that… that was scary.
