Shiloh woke up two days later and was back in his own room. Surprisingly, he doesn't seem to remember what happened. When I walked into his room that morning, he gave me a big smile.
"Good Morning, today the sun is shining brightly, too." He said, he was still sitting on the bed. The sun hit his face, making his pale skin look dazzling.
I went up to him, "Are you much better?"
He looked at me, his eyes blinking a few times, "Did something happen to me? Why you ask me that?" He tilted his head with confusion. "Ah, don't tell me I fell asleep again?"
I didn't say anything for a second. Andrew said something like this to me before. He figured Shiloh wouldn't remember what happened, given his condition. He thinks he did it on purpose, His brain erased the bad memories to protect him.
I thought he wanted to live a long time, but it wasn't like that. Deep down, he wants to move on from all this pain and just be done with it.
