I thought my body would overreact when I kissed Gruvv. The kiss started off slow, but it picked up steam. Gruvv pulled back before things got too heated. He grabbed my shoulder and walked out of my room without saying a word.
I was still glued to the couch that night, thinking about what had just gone down. My heart was pounding and I could feel my face getting red. It wasn't my first kiss, but it felt amazing. I still remember how soft and plump his lips were.
Since that night, Gruvv's been acting weird around me. He still says "good morning" and "good night" to me, and he still takes me for his daily walk. He always comes back with some thing in his hand, and he sometimes even eats with me. He also sometimes just sits with me while I read a book in the greenhouse because it's too cold to go outside. But, honestly, he was being kind of awkward.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't his first kiss either, he was nine years older than me!
