Chapter 421 - Unexpected visitors

Three days had passed since the reconciliation, and Coco could now bask in the comfort and ease of their friendship once again.

The carriage ride back to the house was a comfortable one, her body nestled comfortably into the soft plush of the upholstered seat.

The rhythmic motion of the horses' trot lulled Coco into a sense of contentment, her eyes taking in the passing scenery as the carriage moved steadily forward— this seems to be her routine now.

Her thoughts wandered, a mix of gratitude and hopefulness filling her heart, a big contrast to the uncertainty she had experienced before.

Once she arrived at the house, Coco bid farewell to the coachman, expressing her gratitude for the safe journey, before exiting from the carriage.

She watched as the coachman guided the horses away first, the vehicle disappearing in the distance, and then turned towards the house.

With a sigh, Coco approached the front door, her hand reaching for the handle and opened the front door.
