"K.. Kill?" Coco stammered out, eyes widening in horror. "Who? Carina? Corinne..?"
Cleora looked solemn, but for some reason, she didn't look guilty. "Yes, I asked that from the mother tree in hopes of finding you while keeping them close to me."
Coco doesn't know what to say and all she could do is stare.
"Apparently, the four dimensions that the fairies rule over are similar to earth." Cleora added, her eyes shifting back to meet Coco's wide ones. "And in those dimensions, there's a version of you, of me, of Carina, of Corinne— each of us has a version of us in those worlds."
"You mea—"
"Yes, I mean it." Cleora stated and cut her daughter off with a nod. "It just so happened that I'm a Duchess in this world and that you are a noble's daughter."
"Then what about Carina..?" Coco murmured, frowning deeply.
