Chapter 13 - Starting new life as a Scammer (3)

Jet black flames danced around me as I held my chest. Opening my hand, a pill materialized from thin air before I put it in my mouth and swallowed it. The pain subsided a little, but then came back full force again.

The black flames grew more intense as they started to burn my ceremonial robes.

'Shit I don't have a choice'

Closing my eyes, I concentrated on my body. Feeling my blood flow through my body, I then started to change some of its movements.

This caused some of the pain to subside and the flames around me to dim slightly. That being said, it was still there.

'This thing is more feisty than last time'

"Ac-activate consume protical!" I shouted through the pain.

Suddenly, the flames around me went into my body before they slowly but surely subsided. Once it was completely gone, I opened my status window again and looked at my stats.

[Luck: 2,567]

"What the fuck!" I cursed

Why did it take so much?

I then looked at my bloodlines

[Bloodline: Golden Sun Dragon (Awakening 50%)]

[Bloodline: Devourer Phoenix (Awakening 20%)]

Seeing that I couldn't help but frown. Controlling my bloodlines once more, I looked at my Golden Sun Dragon bloodline to see it at 65%.

'This isn't good'

At the rate this was going, my [Golden Sun Dragon] bloodline was going to awaken. That was something I didn't want at the moment, mainly because I wanted to fuse my bloodlines, and once they awakened, it would be impossible.

Not only that, I wanted to level up my bloodline.

For that, I needed dragonblood, which I could get. But I also needed an alchemist as my alchemy skills weren't good.

'Right, she should still be working there…'

However, convincing her would be a whole other story.

I let out a sigh before looking at my robe, which had holes burned through it. Taking them off, I then went into the washroom. I then turned the knob to release an ice-cold spray of water.

*Hisssss*

A hissing sound was made as the cold water made contact with my skin, causing vapour to go into the air. After finishing the shower, I found some clothes and put them on, and sat on my bed.

In my previous life, my second bloodline didn't manifest properly until the great cataclysm. That was probably because of Elizabeth's pressure. Sensing it must have made the bloodline awaken slightly

However, if I wanted to combine my bloodlines, they needed to be of equal rank. With my golden sun dragon bloodline being an AA, it was basically impossible to fuse my Devour Phoenix.

'Just how long can I keep this thing in check?'

Opening the store, I looked at the number of coins I had.

[Coins: 1,456,200]

I remembered what I did when I received the coins. Thanks to HADES, I was able to use the admin perks. These perks allowed me to interact with the system shop more than other merchants. Thanks to that, I could use some discounts anytime.

Scrolling through the system, I then found what I was looking for.

[Flame Bloodline Suppression Pill]

Buying a few and using the discounts, I then swallowed 2.

'With these pills, I could probably survive about 2 months'

In those 2 months, I needed to clear a lot of dungeons to level up before I could go "there".

With a breath, I looked at the black and blue status screen as I remembered what I did.

The world system known as GAIA was a part of a separate world. The other world was trying to consume this world, which was working. That's why dungeons started to appear, and players could conquer them.

The world needed to prepare its inhabitants, so it made a version of the GAIA system to prepare its inhabitants.

However, thanks to it being an earlier version, it had glitches that could be exploited. But all of those glitches would be fixed when the full version assimilated with this world. To put it simply, if I were still in the GAIA system after the great cataclysm, then I would die.

So, to keep the benefits and stay alive, I needed to use another system rather than the GAIA system.

So I used the HADES system.

Not only could the GAIA system not affect my status without my permission, but I could also just steal the benefits of the GAIA system without it affecting my Order.

That being said, just because I had the highest order of any living being, it didn't mean I was strong just yet.

'Now let's see what task I get'

With my current abilities, I knew where I was going to go. Knowing how clever that bitch was she'd probably going to send me 'there' after curing herself. She probably wanted to weed out all of the suspects who tried to poison her.

However, I didn't mind that.

After all, I knew how this family acted like the back of my hand. Besides I knew who posioned her and who was behind that person.

Just as I was thinking that, I heard a knock at my door.

"Yo-young master, it's Alura," hearing the enchanting voice on the other side of the door, I spoke, "Enter."

The door creaked open, and Alura entered. I put away my status screen and turned my head to Alura before my breath stopped.

'Beautiful'

That's all I could think as Alura entered the room.

With the dirt from her face gone and her hair properly styled, it revealed her pretty face which also had a small blush.

I gulped before I smiled.

"Come sit," I said as I patted the spot in front of me.

Nodding, I watched as she slowly approached me. My eyes caught her body.

Right now, she was wearing a tight pair of PJs that revealed her curvy body. Her breasts weren't big, but they were small either.

Sitting on the bed in front of me, I could tell that she was embarrassed.

I then came closer, causing Alura to close her eyes and puckered her lips. However, I then leaned closer to her ear.

"Now then, tell me why you want thast guy dead?" I asked, causing Alura to freeze.
