3rd Person POV -
While they were eating someone asked,'' I am sorry but I heard you are talking something about veld.''
When they all looked up they saw two mans were standing in front of them. They were rough and tuff from the outside. Easily more then six feet tall with broad shoulder and little beard. They were wearing soldiers uniforms.
Steve said, ''Yes we are going there but who are you.''
One of the man said,'' We don't have to tell you anything. We were just asking for a way. Mind your own thing.''
The other one nudged his brother to tell him to shut up. Then he turned towards them and said,'' Forgive my brother. He does not like to meet new peoples. And for your answer. I am james and this is my brother Victor. We are from the british army and was going towards our new post Veld.''
Sameer whistled and said, ''Then you are in a tough luck. The veld has been occupied by German's forces. So going there is almost impossible and before you can reach there you will be full of bullet holes.''
Listening about the bullet holes the brothers just smiled and sad,'' Before going there we have to wait for someone.''
That got Diana attention. She looked up and asked,'' Who are you looking for?''
James had a slight idea of the identity of this women. But still he asked,'' And Who are you?''
Diana said,'' I am Diana of Thymiscera.''
James said,'' Then we are looking for you.''
Every men on the table now had there weapon ready. Although they did not take aim but they were ready. On the other hand James and Victor were totally undisturbed by the looks they were getting.
James simply replied,'' We were send by Percy to help you in your mission. ''
Diana smiled after hearing this. She gestured them to take a seat. She said,'' I thought we will meet in the Village.''
Victor said ,''We would have met there princess if not for this chance encounter.''
James said,'' Yes he is right. We were also expecting to meet there.''
Steve who was silent for a while finally said,'' That Percy guy send only two of you. The way Diana was speaking I thought he will send an army. ''
The sarcasm and mockery in his voice was not hidden from anyone. Diana also frowned after hearing the tone of his voice. Before anyone can react Steve's head was pressed on the table and Victor was standing in front of him. His long nails were on his neck ready to kill him any minute.
Victor said,'' If I were you I will speak with little more respect. Otherwise '' after saying this he let his warning half way and his nails starting to get even longer.
Everyone even Diana was surprised after seeing the nails. No one expected for something like this to happened at once. Steve tried very hard to get out of the grip of Victor. Although he was very fit for a human standard But a human's strength is nothing in front of Victor. Forget about escaping he can not even move an once from his place.
Suddenly a barrel of gun was pressed on Victor's head. Victor looked up with such ferocity that the fear was pallable on the face of the man. Charlie said,'' let go.''
But before he can say other syllable the entire barrel was cut in two. Victor grinned and was about to say something. But Diana spoke,'' Okkk. Let him go.''
Victor retreated at once. Diana looked at Steve who was massaging his neck and said ,'' Next time don't judge someone without knowing them. It can be very dangerous. And more importantly do not speak of Percy like that again. ''
Diana then turned towards Victor and said,'' So you have powers.''
Victor grinned and flexed his nails. He said,'' this can cut through anything.''
Then Diana turned towards James and said,'' Then I guess you will also have powers. ''
James replied, '' We are brothers.''
Diana nodded her head and then said,'' We should go.''
Then they all left to get to the village. While looking outside Steve said, ''How will we reach there?''
Then James said,''We can just walk.''
Steve said,'' No it will take much more time. We have to reach there sooner.''
James asked,'' And why we have to reach there sooner?''
Then they all knew that none of them told these two brother anything about what is happening. Diana then told them everything about the gas, General and village. Everyone expected them to worry but they just said,'' Oh!''
Steve and his friends looked at them like they are idiot but everyone kept quite. Then suddenly a car was seen everyone tried to stop it but it did not and left with out looking back.
But then the car came back. The man lowered his window and said,'' How can I help you?''
Steve said,'' We have to go the Village of Veld.''
The man then said,'' Okk. Get on. ''
The car was a pick up. Everyone get on the back. And the car moved through the street. On the back Diana asked the brothers,''How did you met Percy? ''
James said,'' He saved us. Both of us. Then he took us in and provided us with everything. ''
Victor said,'' He was also our teacher in a way. He made us stronger and told us to live with our head high.''
Then Diana said,'' And let me guess he also told you a way of War and a warrior.''
James said,'' Yes. He said the way of warrior is for the competition and the war is for winning.
But he also said that if you fought a war without your Warrior ethics and killed someone by violating it then you will not be a warrior but only a murderer.''
And just like that all three of them shared the stories about Percy.
