It didn't take Viktor long to reach the prince's chambers. The door was left ajar, causing Viktor to frown before cautiously pushing it open and stepping into the room, his eyes scanning around in search of Hades. He finally found him leaning casually against the railing of the balcony, the window thrown wide open as the cold wind doubled the chill in the room.
Viktor shivered lightly, moving towards the balcony to join the prince. He too leaned casually against the railing, the only sound between them the biting breeze sweeping across the space. They stood in silence until Viktor turned to Hades, noticing the grim expression on his face—his eyes hollow and distant.
"You seem to be in a rather bad mood this morning," Viktor said, a hint of playfulness and teasing in his voice. Hades smiled, but it barely reached his eyes.
