Kailen activated the concealment rune the moment he was appearing at the other end of the teleportation gate.
When he stepped through the teleportation gate, to his surprise, there was no one guarding the teleportation gate. Instead he felt like he had stepped on something. He looked down, only to see his leg was on a dead body. Several dwarves lay in a pool of their own blood, having been murdered.
That was when a wind blade flashed past him, narrowly missing him by the ear. His gaze snapped to his environs. What he saw was complete mayhem. Dwarves could be seen engaged in different kinds of battles with various machinery lifeforms and other inhabitants of the city who belonged to other races.
"That concealment is not gonna work on anyone here. There's no use hiding. It's either you fight or you die!" a feminine voice, cold, resounded in his ear.
