Bianca took in a slight, unsteady breath.
She glanced at her friends.
They seemed somber after recalling the incident and their own weakness—stopping them from avenging their friends.
Their son, who was not even a galactic level lifeform yet, was the one they were planning on dumping the responsibility on.
As a matter of fact, they were the ones supposed to take care of him in their absence.
But here they were, betting everything on him.
Bianca sighed deeply.
Her gaze lingered softly on Kailen.
The young man, with a calm, yet emotional gaze—one that spoke volumes of restrained anguish and pain—stared back at her.
Suddenly, Bianca leaned towards Kailen and hugged him.
" It's been hard on you all this while. We are sorry we couldn't be there for you, and you had to shoulder this burden all by yourself. We may not be able to do much on our own, but we will support you and be there for you whenever you need us."
