Chapter 5 - I'M NOT YOUR PRISONER

The table was set like a five-star restaurant freshly baked bread, warm fruit tarts, eggs, and delicate porcelain teacups that made me feel like an unwanted guest in a dollhouse i never asked to enter.

I sat stiffly at the end of the table, The silence was deafening until the sound of footsteps echoed across the marble floor. I didn't need to turn to know it was him. 'Dominic Voss.

He walked in as if he owned not just the room but the sun shining through its windows. Dark slacks, crisp black shirt, sleeves casually rolled to his forearms. Effortlessly intimidating. His eyes locked on mine immediately sharp, unreadable.

"You took my phone."

His brow lifted, only slightly. "Good morning to you too, Liana. Did you cry all night not realising that I took your phone. You had no right." My voice rising. He tilted his head, amused. "I have every right.

"You took my phone."

His brow lifted, only slightly. "Good morning to you too, Mrs. Voss."

She took a step toward him, her voice rising. "You had no right."

He tilted his head, amused. "I have every right."

"I'm not your prisoner"

"Aren't you?" he cut in smoothly. "Look around. You're not handcuffed, not chained. You're free to walk this house, eat the finest meals, wear the best clothes. But let's not pretend this is freedom, Liana. You belong to me. That's what your father signed."

My hands balled into fists. "You're a monster." He gave a slow, deliberate smile — but it didn't reach his eyes.

"I've been called worse."

"I'm not hungry." "Well, you should be," he said casually, moving to the sideboard to pour himself a cup of coffee. "You'll need your strength."

She turned around sharply. "Why?"

He sipped, unbothered, then met her gaze with a slow, piercing stare.

"Because I intend to take my rights soon remember your my s*x slave. And I'd hate for you to pass out halfway through."

The room went silent. My breath hitched fury, fear, and disbelief warring in my chest.

"You wouldn't"

He stepped closer, his voice a low, cold warning. "I don't need your permission. I bought your consent the moment your father signed your name. But I'm not a savage, Liana. I want you to want it. And eventually… you will."

I stared at him, trembling not from fear exactly, but from the collision of emotion and helplessness.

"You're disgusting,"I whispered.

Dominic's mouth twitched into a smirk as he set down his cup. "Finish your breakfast." Then he walked away, leaving me standing in a room full of warmth i couldn't feel.

Then he walked away, leaving her standing in a room full of warmth she couldn't feel.
