Chapter 17 - Chapter 17- The Erotic Adventures on Horseback

These people who lived safely at the cost of the lives of knights who lost their lives fighting demons on the frontline would never understand what real strength looks like.

Call them unfortunate for running into Reinhardt of all people today.

"Are you alright Arthur? They did not harm you did they?"

After taking care of the kidnapper, he rushed to untie his little brother.

"I-I was not afraid… I knew big brother would come" The kid's legs were shaking, it was obvious that he was afraid but he tried to be brave in front of the big brother that he idolised.

"Haha, you are my brother after all" Reinhardt ruffled his hair.

"Arthur!!" At this moment Verdia also rushed in and pulled her son into her embrace. Crying and relieved that nothing happened to him.

RUMBLE.. All of a sudden, the building started shaking appearing as if it could collapse any moment. Reinhardt's aura release earlier was too much for a dilapidated building like this to handle.

"We can leave the reunion for when we are safe" he did not speak any further and directly grabbed Verdia and Arthur.

The next second he jumped, his power stats allowed him to easily shoot dozens of meters in the sky.

"Woah!!"…

"Kyaa~" Two people, two different reactions. One was excited, and one screamed in horror.

"There you go" Landing out of the building, Reinhardt put the two down.

"Ah!!" it was also then he noticed that one of his hands had slipped and was directly grabbing one of Verdia's bo*bs due to her silky gown.

He hurriedly let go of his hands and prepared to hear some abuses. But to his surprise, Verida simply glared at him with red cheeks and stopped making eye contact with him.

Anyways, Reinhardt shook his head and headed inside the building again.

"Big brother, where are you going?"…

"To get those kidnappers out"…

"Isn't it better to leave those villains in? They should get buried with the building" Arthur huffed in anger.

"Haha, humans are already being massacred by the demons. If we turn against each other we are only hastening our demise. Leaving them inside to die will not make you feel any better. Besides, there is a much better punishment for lawbreakers like them"

Reinhardt flashed a wicked smile and headed in. A few seconds later, he brought the bunch carrying them like sacks of potatoes.

Next, he contacted one of the city guards who took charge from there.

.

.

Evening rolled in before Reinhardt and the other came back home.

"Welcome everyone, I heard what happened in the city from one of the knights. My son, you did well" Raymond first scrutinised his son to see if he was hurt anywhere before thanking Reinhardt.

"Dammit, I should have been more careful. These past few years the city had become more lawless with refugees coming in from all the lands we lost to the demon. To think I almost lost my son today, I should have assigned more guards with you all" Raymond lamented.

"Don't worry honey, we were safe because of Reinhardt. You have an excellent son" the words to the latter's shock came from none other than Verdia.

Raymond looked at his wife unable to believe what she said. Before he could inquire further, she walked by and headed inside the mansion. No one saw her flushed face.

"Did something happen?"

Reinhardt scratched his cheeks and shook his head.

.

Early morning of the next day. Three carriages and numerous knight escorts on horses were prepared for the journey to the capital.

Reinhardt naturally mounted one of the Arcknight family's war horses. As the knight order, they were supposed to make the trip on horses; however, since the lady of the family and junior master were also coming, carriages had to be prepared.

One would ask why was there a need for three?

The answer, two of three carriages were all filled with clothes and items for the journey like food and other essentials.

As a noblewoman and the wife of a duke, there was no way Verdia would be satiated by the dray rations that the knight ate. She brought lots of ration that could last a month even though the journey was only three days.

Reinhardt looked at the absurd amount of things being stored inside the carriage with strange eyes. Trying to understand nobles with common sense was like banging one's head on a stone.

"Hehe, let's go!!" Arthur excitedly boarded the carriage, wearing the armor that was tailored made for him.

Everyone was here except for…

"Where is your mother?" Raymond asked.

"Mother? Ah, she is still getting ready" Arthur answered.

Half an hour later, Verdia came out. However, unlike her usual self, she didn't wear a gown instead she was donned in a beautiful top and pants that perfectly accentuated her hour glass like figure.

"Eh?" Raymond blinked, not knowing what to think.

"I want to ride a horse" Verdia declared.

It appeared that the reason why she was dressed like that was because she wanted to ride a horse.

"But honey, you don't know how to ride a horse" Raymond tried to reason but it seemed like Verdia was adamant.

"I can just learn then".

Sighing to himself he came up with an idea that would indulge her.

"That's right how about you sit with Reinhardt? He will teach you how to ride a horse".

Reinhardt who didn't expect he would be dragged into the conversation, was stymied.

"That's a good idea. Your first son is indeed excellent in everything" Verdia willingly nodded her head, a serioius expression on her face.

"Haha, then it's decided. Reinhardt let Verdia sit with you".

Unable to reject the orders of his father, he could only obey. As warhorses raised and nurtured for war by the Arcknight family, the warhorses could easily pull triple their weight.

As such, having two people ride on its back would not slow down the warhorse's pace in any way.

"Hup!!" Reinhardt extended a hand and pulled Verdia up. In their position, she was sitting in front, with him pulling the reins from behind her.
