Feeling the magic surge in the air, Vangeance stopped in his tracks and lowered his sword. The next second, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Your blade shall carry the weight of your vow. Your movements and your swing shall become one with your mind, breath, and blade. Finding unity in three will remove all openings… [Holy Blade Arts] - Second Light."
The moment the demonic magic formations were about to activate, Vangeance opened his eyes again. A faint golden ring shimmered within them. At that very second, his sword vanished, or rather, it moved too fast for mortal perception.
First swing severed the spell formation mid cast, second swing disarmed their demonic weapons, and the last. The third left a line across the ground, and then, as the demons rushed in confusion...

Six heads fell to the ground before anyone saw the blade's return arc.
