Chapter 219 - Chapter 219 – Ice-Fire Yin-Yang Well

"For there to be enough energy to sustain so many Bi-Lyn Flowers, there must be a treasure land behind them."

The Ice Empress pressed her red lips together and spoke with certainty.

Bi-Lyn Flowers were extremely rare among soul beasts, yet here they appeared in massive clusters—something clearly extraordinary.

The Ice Empress understood well that sometimes opportunity and environment were far more important than bloodline.

In her knowledge, there had once been a low-bloodline ice silkworm who relied solely on the Ten-Thousand-Year Ice Jade Marrow. It did nothing but eat and sleep and eventually surpassed even her in cultivation years.

If she had been given such resources, she could not imagine how far she might have gone—but such was fate.

"However, this emperor is also walking a bright path now."

A sharp glimmer flashed through her emerald eyes as she thought silently.

"Of course it's a treasure land."

Jiang Jue nodded lightly. The Ice-Fire Yin-Yang Well was formed from the fallen corpses of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King—two of the Dragon God's nine children. It was one of the three greatest sacred lands in the human world.

"Since we're already here, why don't we take a look? Maybe there's something that could help your cultivation."

Her green hair danced softly in the air as the Ice Empress turned to look at Jiang Jue, her voice soft.

"Let's go."

This place was Jiang Jue's true destination—of course he was going down.

Immediately, Jiang Jue and the Ice Empress stepped into the rainbow toxic miasma, but as they went deeper, the Bi-Lyn Flowers sensed something, and one by one their giant buds sprayed thick dark-green poisonous mist violently outward.

"Hmph! In front of me, you dare be so unruly? Truly bold!"

Seeing the poisonous fog that had been retreating suddenly rush toward them under the flowers' control, the Ice Empress snorted coldly.

A moment later, an overwhelming burst of Ultimate Ice erupted from her body, spreading endlessly in all directions. In an instant, a radius of a hundred miles turned into a world of ice and snow—

And that was her holding back.

Under the freezing storm, the Bi-Lyn Flowers rippled like waves, then rapidly closed their blossoms tightly, as if frightened children wrapping themselves hurriedly in blankets.

Within only a few dozen meters, all Seven-Fatal and Nine-Fatal Bi-Lyn Flowers had closed, drastically weakening the toxic miasma.

"Even though I've discarded poison, ice can still punish you."

The Ice Empress nodded with satisfaction and continued forward with Jiang Jue. Within a few breaths, they passed through the flower field and reached the edge of the valley.

The edge was extremely steep, cut sharp like a blade, and within the valley the miasma was so dense it severely hindered sight and spiritual sense.

"Old Yi, I'll be counting on you from here."

In his spiritual sea, Jiang Jue spoke seriously to Electrolux.

The Ice-Fire Yin-Yang Well was Tang Shenwang's private garden—he might have left traps.

Jiang Jue already confirmed that Tang Shenwang had placed him and Huo Yuhao in a "breed-a-gu" scenario. Some things must be guarded against.

Back then, Huo Yuhao entered the Ice-Fire Well already wearing a mental control collar. He was gradually domesticated, so Tang Shenwang felt safe—but Jiang Jue now had nothing.

"Don't worry. This old man is here—and always will be."

Electrolux's aged yet steady voice echoed from the spiritual sea—calm, unshakeable, utterly trustworthy.

"Let's go."

Jiang Jue took a deep breath to suppress his excitement. Below him, thin layers of ice-blue crystals appeared in midair.

He stepped off the cliff and landed atop the frozen sheets, descending rapidly downward. The Ice Empress floated at his side, guarding him.

Suddenly, something entered Jiang Jue's spiritual detection range—rushing toward them at incredible speed.

It was a thick dark-blue vine, etched with rainbow lines, as thick as an adult's thigh—like a giant python striking toward him.

Jiang Jue continued descending without slowing, and the Ice Empress flicked her hand lightly. The vine instantly disintegrated into powder and vanished.

But that seemed to trigger a switch—countless dark-blue vines erupted from the cliff walls, waving and wrapping around them. The vines were stained with rainbow colors of poison, clearly terrifyingly toxic.

"Ice Empress, don't waste them. These are all good materials."

Seeing the incoming swarm and the Ice Empress readying her power, Jiang Jue smiled and slowed his descent. A flash of silvery-white light appeared—Luo Bai manifested in his hand.

These vines, nourished by the Ice-Fire Well, were all thousand-year and even ten-thousand-year plant-type soul beasts bursting with life essence—and Luo Bai needed exactly that.

"Bzzzz!"

Sensing its master's intention, Luo Bai trembled excitedly. The blood-red serpent coiled along the spear shaft glowed violently.

"Pa! Pa! Pa!"

Jiang Jue swung repeatedly—each strike of Luo Bai struck the incoming vines with crisp cracking sounds.

The devouring soul bone within Luo Bai roared to life, and with each hit, a violent dark devouring force spread across the vine.

The originally deep blue vines instantly turned ashen gray, collapsing limp like withered straws—and some were devoured completely, leaving not a trace.

"You can actually do that? Jiang Jue, you… you're really thrifty."

The Ice Empress murmured in mild astonishment at the vines collapsing after being drained.

Soon the vines stopped attacking and instead desperately fled back into cracks in the rock.

"See? Who says plant-type soul beasts are stupid? They seem pretty smart to me."

Jiang Jue stroked Luo Bai, whose serpent markings became even more vivid and whose eyes now gleamed faintly with life.

"If they hadn't run, they'd have all become nourishment for that spear."

The Ice Empress crossed her arms, rolling her eyes gracefully.

"Let's go."

Jiang Jue shook his head and continued down the valley.

Only after they departed did the vines cautiously peek back out…

Without further obstruction, Jiang Jue accelerated again.

After descending around three hundred meters, the toxic clouds suddenly thinned, and the blocked view instantly cleared.

"Why does this look like your human hotpot? Half one color and half another?"

The Ice Empress lifted her brow in surprise.

Jiang Jue's mouth twitched. Over the past year, aside from cultivation, he frequently entered the banner to learn the use and understanding of Ultimate Ice from the Ice and Snow Empresses.

Over time, their relationship naturally grew much less stiff.

"Such rich life energy."

Jiang Jue inhaled the dense aura of life in the air and looked down into the valley.

Though the valley wasn't large, it was filled with plants of countless shapes and colors, many shining with varying intensities of treasure-like radiance—clearly extraordinary.

The most striking thing was the lake at their center.

It was perfectly split in two—one side ice-white, emitting mist, the other fiery red, the air above it rippling with heat.

White and red, like two massive pieces of jade embedded into the earth, overflowing with life force that filled the entire valley.

Just then, a bold voice echoed upward:

"You two humans up there—get down here immediately, or don't blame me for being rude!"

The fiery red spring below began to boil violently.
