Seul ran.
The corridor blurred past her, grey concrete and flickering lights and doors hanging open on broken hinges. Chul's heavy footsteps pounded beside her. Somewhere just behind them, Haneul's shadow slid along the floor, keeping pace, never quite where she expected it to be.
A man stepped out of a doorway ahead, swinging a length of pipe.
Seul didn't slow down. She flicked her hand, and the pipe suddenly weighed as much as a car. It dropped out of his grip and slammed into the floor with a CLANG so loud it echoed down the hall. His arms went with it, and he pitched forward onto his face. Chul hopped over him without breaking stride.
They kept running.
It had all gone wrong so fast.
One moment the four of them had been scattered around that hall, keeping their heads down, watching the woman in black stand over the hole she'd made in the wall. Then she'd looked up toward the side door Jin and Ryu had slipped through, and her smile had changed. She'd turned back to the room.
