"JUMP~ .... JUMP, if you can. Jump, of you dare. Jump and die, you bitch," a gravelly, almost demonic voice echoed inside Myra's head as it urged her to jump from the edge of the cliff.
Although Myra tried to sound calm and composed, but the tremble in her voice was betraying her, "Do~ you~ …. do you think I am joking? I will really jump from this cliff and die."
Thunderous roars and laughter erupted around her, listening to her threats. This was followed by loud chants of mockery towards her, "JUMP …. JUMP …. JUMP …. JUMP~ .... DIE … DIE … DIE …. DIE~."
Myra clenched her fists so tight that her fingernails were digging into her palms, a little blood oozed out of it. Her eyes were bloodshot and red. She was scared to the core, but she didn't let it show on her face. With a defiant and decisive look, she exhaled a deep breath and stared straight at the darkness that had been chasing her, mocking her.
