"Wendy~ …. she had come with us, of course. I wonder what's taking her so long. I will go and see," the moment Sandra said this, the door to the room glided open.
Wendy stepped inside, donning a broad smile. It was literally plastered on her face. Seeing that Myra had finally woken up, her already bright smile deepened as she spoke, "Sis, you are finally awake." She rushed towards Myra and gave her a warm, squeezing hug.
"OUCHHH!" Myra couldn't help but flinch a little, though her sister's reaction filled her heart with tenderness. Wendy quickly pulled away. With a hand on her ear, she apologized sticking her tongue out, "I am so sorry, sis. Got a little carried away. Did I tug at your injuries? Are you okay?"
Myra gave her a reassuring nod.
After confirming, Wendy clapped her hands together and recalled something. She then announced, "Sis, see who has come to visit you." She seemed extremely excited for some reason. Her voice was filled with zeal.
