CHAPTER 63
Grace was bewildered. She hadn't trusted herself enough to heal anyone, even though she'd taken a bold step. Still shaken, she rushed to King Charlenugo, whose eyes were now wide open, and gently helped him sit upright.
"How do you do these strange things?" a soft feminine voice asked.
Everyone turned to see who had spoken. Queen Jonah stepped forward, wearing a faint, unreadable smile.
"How do you do these strange things?" she repeated.
Grace looked around the room. Every eye was on her, searching for answers.
"Don't start, Queen Jonah. My father just regained consciousness," Grace said in a dismissive tone.
"Oh please," Jonah snapped. "What do you take us for? One moment you're levitating, the next you're healing the dying and we're supposed to believe you're just the god of Peace?" Her voice rose with anger.
"I don't" Grace began, but was cut off.
